I had someone recently message me who wanted a long session, but didn't want to pay. I am a pro, so I was a little confused, especially since he claimed he read my profile. 🙄
I haven't seen/experienced any lately, atleast in my area.
I have encountered an amount of no-shows and ghosters, but nothing that isn't par for the course for online correspondence, as depressing as that sounds.
@bekah_cuddles Sounds like less of a scam, and more of an arsehole. Would consider reporting said individual for violating CuddleComfort's Terms and Conditions.

Hi, everybody. In just the last few weeks, I have received several scammer calls. So far, each one has been a recorded message. Some of these say that my "car warranty" is expiring, and that I must quickly reply to keep from losing said warranty. But my car is an old junker, and will soon have to be replaced, and I have never had a warranty on it. Far more disturbing, though, are the calls which purportedly are from Social Security, brazenly asserting that my account there is, or will be, closed due to some supposed problem (s) involving fraud. I am then threatened, that unless I immediately respond by talking with one of their "agents," a warrant will be issued for my arrest. I then block the number, but soon get similar calls from different numbers. These crooks are stepping up their efforts, especially during this time, targeting our stimulus checks, and our tax refunds. I get even more angry, and scared, for people who may be extra vulnerable, such as our elderly citizens, or anybody else who might be easily confused and intimidated by the bullying tactics of those heartless SOB's. Please, let's all be incredibly cautious, and help protect our family and friends, especially those who are elderly and/or disabled! I will end my remarks here, however, on a positive note: Let's never forget that there is still an abundance of sweetness and beauty, of so many kinds, in our world. I hope we will all generously add to all of that. In the process, we will help each other find comfort and hope. Even more, we can bring enormous joy to one another. Imagine the possibilities!
Whenever I am free I will take the time to talk to scammers. Every moment they're wasting their time with me is one that they're not actually scamming someone.
@quixotic_life you can see them in your search results. Some profiles are obviously sketchy, some you have to look closely. Some you can't detect at all until you are in correspondance with them. Some you can't even detect until you are in the room with them, and they demand money.
As far as I can tell most are detected and banned within a day or two.

I'm not following. Are these scammers on the site or elsewhere? If on the site, what kind of scam is it? I see phone calls mentioned, which confuses me.
@CanyonRidge I believe the original intent of this thread was to discuss scammers on the website. We'd have to verify with @verona. Others that have added to the conversation have added the increase in scams at large.
@CanyonRidge there are numerous different types of scammers that appear, usually briefly, on this site.
A simple one for example, is to pose as as professional cuddler. Encourage a gullable client to pay for a session in advance, including travel expenses and hotel, and then disappear.

@fdavidm2 I got many of those vehicle warranty scam calls on a number first generated for me by Google Voice. I have since ported it from there to T-Mobile and NumberBarn. My NumberBarn call log still says the number from which the scammers were calling has called. Fortunately NumberBarn is just a texting service that allows the customization of the greeting played to voice callers. So no voicemail to delete, but I know they're still bothering me.
