How long will you last?

From what I see (been on this site for over 2 years), 90% of the cuddlers never make it past 6 months before they are gone. I am sure there are a variety of reasons, but I think too many have unrealistic expectations on both sides (pros and non pros).

  • Yeah, I've noticed that too.
Going on three years myself, I think ~

  • Going on two!

  • I think I’m on 1 year or approaching the one year now...

  • As a pro-
No matter the precautions I take... still get into creepy situations

    • I've had a cuddler that was offended that I wouldn't get naked. Then in a defeated voice asked if I would "at least" "take care" of him
    • I've had one person grab my chin and ask me to ask him each question directly and slowly
    • I've had people cancel on me last second because "I found another girl who will do it cheaper"
    • I've talked to people for weeks who will abruptly stop once it is made clear that nothing sexual will happen
    • Someone who changed profiles and I realized when I put their phone number in and their old screenname popped up
    • And other situations I don't feel comfortable saying

    -disclaimer-
    - I talk to people for weeks before meeting them. And if I have an uneasy meeting, I block them when I get home
-Yes I can walk out whenever. But when I feel scared or go into flight or fight mode..I don't see how to grab my belongings and leave without introducing danger.
-And to say that "oh yea I'm sure there's a few creeps"is too much of an over generalization

There are kind and wonderful people on this site which makes it worth it. But the bad ones really affect my mental health in the worse way. Making me feel like nothing but a body, that I owe more than I want to give because "they paid me!"

  • @AnxietyBgone I am really sorry those things have happened to you. That is terrible! And as I stated, there are a variety of reasons people don't last and you stated some of them. I could list about 10 more (on both sides, girls with unrealistic prices, guys with wrong motives, etc.). But as you stated, there are some really good people on here as well and that is why some of us are still here :)

  • I thought this was an entirely different question. . .

  • Three years and five months so far this time around.

And I may deactivate soon, because I FINALLY seem to have found a local enthusiast who is on the same page as I am. If so, then the "search" is over, though I might stay around long-term so I can continue to find new cuddle partners for my business travels.

  • @AnxietyBgone Hugs!! That sucks. So sorry. And may I say, OF COURSE THAT STUFF AFFECTS YOU. And it's not your fault for not taking precautions. It's crazy how easy it is for people to get past our screening and radar. It's crazy how rampant some of those attitudes are in men. You owe nothing sexual to anyone whether they pay you or not. I just wanted to reach out and say, of course the creepy sorts affect you. Men can and DO treat women like we're just meat or owe them something and I want you to know I'm over here cheering for you to take exquisite care of yourself! You're worth it!

Oh, sometimes I want to gather up all the fellows that do that and give them a good educational course in having a clue. Alas.

    More hugs. <3

  • After a month on this site, I wonder sometimes for how long I'll stick around. I'm trying to contact non pros in my area, and it usually starts good, but after a couple of messages... dead silence.

  • Thanks for the supportive words @cuddletime222 @littermate

  • @Maverick07 the percentage of female non pros is very small. And as you said, most of those don't materialize. I have yet to have a cuddle session with a not pro. And even some of the female pros who are in it to make money don't always respond. I have been tempted to leave several times (especially with Covid) but still around after 2 years because there are some good ones. While there are some that have been around over a year (and longer) still doing business, very few stay past 6 months from what I see. And no doubt for a variety of reasons.

I've been here nearly six years. Found a steady cuddle buddy (albeit not through this site), but I'm still sticking around because hey—I like cuddling more than just one person. And it's a good site, innit?

  • I hope I last longer. I had to take a break, due to health issues, but I'm back now!

  • For as long as the site exists I imagine. I hang out on the forums. Finding cuddle buddies here is something I pretty much do passively.

  • I've been here 3 years but I come and go. I stay because I like the site and the little conversations I have with people that message me. I haven't had a cuddle yet.

  • About one month and counting...

  • 3 Years & 5 Months. Still counting..

  • I have been here for over 4 years. I like reading the forums. I have chatted with many people, men and women.

Some of the men asked what am I looking for on this site. When I say to get to know people, and if things work out, to cuddle. That is when they usually disappear, or ghost. smh. The sites name is Cuddle Comfort. The name says it all. No explanation necessary.

I like this site, and will keep on looking for people to cuddle with, nothing more.

  • @AnxietyBgone I haven't been here even a year and a half and I've had very similar experiences as you. I stick around because of the very few good experiences I've had with clients.

  • @bekah_cuddles same. The sessions that are good, are so refreshing. I love hearing life from a different point of view, having a tight hug and embrace, it's nice. I mentioned a few of the not so good experiences to answer why people leave

  • A month and and still counting. I have seen many deactivated accounts but that’s why I like these chats, it feels not so alone.

@AnxietyBgone and @bekah_cuddles so sorry you have had those unpleasant and offensive experiences. I admire you both for hanging in there, and I glad to hear there are enough really good cuddlers to keep you here.

Just wondering if you rely on karma to help guide your willingness to engage with new potential cuddlers. How accurate has it been for you? I hope it's helpful- I usually offer karma after a positive experience. - Nate

  • Approaching the 8 month mark and all is good.

  • Probably not much longer, lol

  • @Klynn_Nate67
thank you. I most definitely am more willing to meet with someone that has karma.
If someone is fairly new to the site, it's understandable to not have reviews.

Red flags tend to go off in my head when speaking with someone who says they've had many sessions, have been on the site for over a year, and then they have no karma to show...

I try to get a feel for people by asking what they have enjoyed previously, general chit chatting, and patience.

I find it a bit off-putting if someone answers every question with "okay now can I see you" after literally two sentences of exchange.

From my pov- you are asking me to put myself in a vulnerable situation, your profile isn't filled out, no pic, no karma, and now you are frustrated that I won't meet after two messages?

But if someone has a photo, karma, and patience...I meet with them sooner.

There are patterns. So far anyone the has asked if I'm open minded is code for sexual innuendo.. which I don't need, no thank you. And once that is established they either ghost me or get angry.
My favorite has to be being called a "fat, lonely, wannabe prostitute, loser" because I was sent a nude and would not do the same.
On a side note- I completely forgot to reply to people that day because that sent me in a spiral. So sometimes if someone isn't replying to you... maybe they're having an off day and just try again.

The best experiences have also coincided with people that are patient and accommodating.

The worse experiences have coincided people in a big hurry to meet right away and can barely say a sentence about their intentions/ likes/about themselves.

Some amazing sessions we have talked about anything and everything... lay in silence.. laugh at a movie together.. just hugging.. caressing. Give/ receive massage. Laughing. I feel bad that the sexually frustrated creepers make it harder for the genuine cuddlers to find someone to meet.

  • I have been here for 1 and a half years. I was going to delete my account and was already in process sometime around 10 months ago or so but then I realized I can save up money to go cuddling with professional cuddlers, however, I was not logging in for like 4 or 5 months straight, as I was talking to this one young lady, but we kind of went our own ways, so I came back to Cuddle Comfort. Most people here ignore, even those close to me, and I am sure that could also happen to many other people, and I was blocked by 2 people immediately upon receiving my message, well, at least by the time I saw a reply but then with random blocking, which doesn't really make sense. Although blocking doesn't necessarily mean that they believe a person is a bad person or a creep, although a few could blow it that much proportion, I wonder if anyone would falsely report a guy due to harassment or sexual harassment only due to sending a normal greeting message.

In one time, a bit soon after having created my account on this website, I was going to meet up with another user, only to find out in the last minute that upon arriving to the given address, it was a motel, someplace very uncomfortable for me to meet up at. Plus, she probably wanted me to pay the price in full as she messaged me saying that she thought I had already paid for it. I find it weird, awkward, and strange to cuddle with especially a stranger in a hotel or motel room. I am definitely not comfortable with overnight meetups. I told her then that I don't really have much money left, and can't be spending it on the motel. She didn't feel comfortable with meeting up at a park or bus stop.
