Birthday Road Trip KS to Nashville

Hi lovelies -

I'm about to take off on a little birthday road trip from Lawrence, KS to Nashville, TN to see the Picasso exhibit, stay in a rural Airbnb, go horseback riding, sit in a hot tub and basically celebrate in a mostly solitudinous way, my birth.

Woot!

Got my negative covid test in hand, my hand sanitizer and masks to go with every outfit. Haha.

If you are familiar with the territory between here and Nashville, or that in or around Nashville, and you want to tell me something you find interesting therein (and why), I'm all ears.

    @littermate music row, millionaires row, stars homes, if lower Broadway is back open that’s fun with all the venues. Vanderbilt’s campus is beautiful and so is the Cumberland river at the end of Lower Broadway where you may be able to take a riverboat ride. I love Nashville. I think you will too.

    @littermate oh and if you like antiques, the Antique Archaeology store is in the Marathon warehouse in south Nashville. ( ‘Antique Archaeology’ is the business featured on the History Channel show “American Pickers). It has a lot of fun stuff to see.

    😅😅 when my friend and I visited were asked the bartender to make us something delicious and southern (we're from the North lol). So she made us a moonshine margarita! Just instead of tequila use moonshine 😁

    I'm going to be there this weekend for a wedding . Avoid parking downtown its hella expensive!! You would orob really enjoy the Parthenon. Not expensive at all.and you can make a day out of it with the park outside and all the details they put into it all.

    If you enjoy history at all a day trip to Franklin, about 40 minutes south of Nashville is well worth it. The Red Pony is a great place to eat.
    Enjoy your trip. I am so jealous.

    I read this post and I have to say that people from countries with such laxed corona rules should talk with people from countries with strict corona rules.

    I mean exactly what Im saying talk to people from countries with strict corona virus rules.There are countries where only one person per house hold can leave their home and on certain days at certain times and are only allowed to do essential things.There is a female from Malaysia I like on my facebook I have her and both of her sisters on facebook.I have been talking with one of her sisters.She told me one of their family members died.She said theres two females related to him.She said that the two females werent allowed to stay the whole funeral.She said they had to stand at a certain distance from everyone else.They werent allowed to touch anyone.There was guards at there at the funeral.Imagine any of that in any country with laxed corona virus rules.

    (Gotta say, I'd take virtual house arrest over being coughed on by maskless people at the gas station. At least while a nasty virus is doing the rounds. Man, I'd like to live in a country that takes better Covid precautions than this one.)
