When I was a kid, my favorite relative was Uncle Caveman. After school, we'd all go and play in his cave and every once in a while he would eat one of us. It wasn't until later that I learned that Uncle Caveman was a bear.

@quixotic_life I am so sorry you had such a horrible day on the 18th!!! I hope you're able to get your car window replaced quickly and without too much trouble, and that your insurance fully covers it. And I hope the stores you got those clothes from have huge sales sometime soon so you can start replacing them.

I'll be calling on the insurance thing on Monday (I only heard last night they might cover this type of thing). Also, I've already started replacing some of the replaceable things, which is all gonna be hella spendy, but it's the irreplaceable, sentimental stuff, I'm most upset about. Other than the toiletries, there was nothing in the one bag that would have meant anything to anyone other than me. Unless they're into mini art, sewing, office supply, etc. kits, tiny games, dinky dice, a travel Buddha board and/or the other random self soothing sensory kit contents it took me years to get just right for myself...
But I'll get through it. I'm trying to look on the bright side ~ At least I have a pic of the combo (mom memory mixed with my future) fuze quilt I'd been working on since she passed a few years ago, I can make other mini kits, and my "chill out" kit would've been great to have (especially in that moment), but by not having it (or my inhaler) I was forced to use other strategies to get a grip. So really those things aren't actually necessary after all.
And if it weren't for the bannability of cuddling without clothes on, that wouldn't be an issue either (I mean unless CC has some sort of exception clause related to one's comfy cuddle attire being stolen ~ then whoot!) Because cuddling in the only pair of jeans I still have isn't very comfy at all! But I kind of doubt that would go over well.
Although...??? Maybe I could get away with cuddling in a sort of toga? Hrm... 🤔 I might just look into 'creative wrapping techniques' because I have sheets, and also have a cuddle date scheduled before my order will be here... Lol!! Just kidding ~ I'll pick something appropriate up before then.
