Any suggestions for while I'm in town?
Was debating with having a rare free evening Saturday to do something fun, but enough distance and space to do it in a healthy manner.

Yes @DarrenWalker the Science Pyramid at the Denver Botanical Garden is such a contrast against all the nature and rolling mountains.... Very sci-fi futuristic.
This was on the other side of the mirrored water tank. I have video that does it justice but here's a picture

You know, I lived in Colorado practically my whole life and never went to see these places. Weird how that happens, isn't it? Maybe I'll go back as a tourist someday and actually do the touristy stuff.
Learned also of things called an "orangery" Winter time is when citrus tends to bloom and since it was such a nice day we got to go inside.

This is my second time at the Denver Botanical Garden, but first time during winter. It was neat seeing the Japanese gardens section here and seeing all the perennials that have made it through the rough weather.
You should! It's great just for a solo walk around or with a friend. Lots of nature and animals too.
Also, the royal ridge railroad trip is incredible too if you have a chance @DarrenWalker
Garden of the Gods is free as well and has over 300 million years of history and transformation.
I just did the drive through this time, didn't have appropriate shoes for hiking, but next time I'm checking it out more in depth and hitting up some local hot springs.
I did a huge two day trip hang out with a favorite client/friend of mine that I met through cuddling over 2 years ago.

It's so funny, because coming from the NW part of the country, it's almost exotic for me 🤣🤣
Thank you. It was a necessary trip for the day job, but I tried to social distance and make the best out of the natural beauty of the world. Smell the fresh air, even through two masks. 🤣🤣
@MissAdventurous - You still gotta visit Hanging Lake next time you're here. It's 3 hours from Denver.
@MissAdventurous - Also, this is Spouting Rock which is right above Hanging Lake if you hike up a little further.

@MissAdventurous - It's in Glenwood Springs which also has a very good hot springs pool and you can white water raft down the Colorado river and do some cave tours at the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. I went up there a few years ago and booked a hotel room because it was impossible to do everything in one day.
