Professional cuddlers that lie about their age

I noticed a professional cuddler I talked to lies about her age.  She's in her mid 40s but claims to be mid 30s.   
So that must mean the site does not check ID of their professional cuddlers.   Shouldn't someone who is a pro cuddler be at least verified to be who they say they are ?   
Not only age but they could also be lying about their gender.   How do we even know these professionals are really women and not scam artist men if the site is not verifying their identity.

    It happens on both sides. I see pictures of men looking for cuddles that are clearly not the age listed but at least 15 years older. Should the site also be checking their ID to protect the pros? It would need to be far to everyone. Everyone should feel save and protected. 

    I have many trans friends so it has never bothered me as to what their outside was. If their inside is good and they are free to be who they are, then the connection is good, the energy is good. 

    If you are worried about someone not being who they say they are then don't cuddle them. If you still want to cuddle them, ask for a skype or FaceTime meeting.

    People will fib about their age all the time.  It's  so obvious though lol.   I keep hearing from pros who have clients who seem to be 55 in real life but claim to be 45.   Can't blame them though with all the alleged age discrimination.

    If age is of that much interest to you, you are on the wrong site, this is a touch therapy site not a dating site.

    Wow that's kind of rude !   Did you miss that other thread where pros won't cuddle with older clients ?
    Let's try to be nicer to people.  He didn't say anything wrong.

    With all due respect to Johns comment regarding age and saying Jello should go to a dating site, yes age is just a number and this is a touch therapy site but my issue is dishonesty. When people are dishonest, it carries such a negative energy with it. I am up front and honest and hope and wish everyone else is as well. I've had other members in the past use an alias and yes I am sure they do that for their own discretion but once the truth is found out, it leaves a little distaste with me. To be in such an intimate situation where you are cuddling and sharing with someone only to find out later that they weren't honest with you, feels horrible in my opinion. So I see your point and agree with my friend, John and I can also see Jellos point.

    I'm not one who recites the mantra that this is a touch therapy site. CC describes itself as a "platonic cuddling" site, and that's not necessarily the same thing. While it would be silly for a "patient" receiving "therapy" to care about the age of his therapist, it's not at all silly for a platonic cuddle fan to have a preference regarding the age of his/her cuddler --- pro or not. . It is evident that that the site's founders believe this, as shown by the fact that they have given us a drop-down menu to select a preferred age range on our profiles. If you truly have no age preference, you can set yours from 18-99, as I have seen some people do. But if someone's preference is 18-20 or 25-29, those are also valid choices that the site has been arranged to let them express. So I see no reason to insist that if age matters that much to someone, they are on the wrong site. That seems to me like conflating personal convictions with site policy. 

    Fudging ages doesn't really bother me. In an age where the (in)security of personal info on the Internet is a crucial matter, many people dislike giving their true date of birth to anyone who is not legally required to have it. Also, I remember a thread not so long ago where someone suggested that
    Cuddle Pros ought to retire at age 35. Another, more recent thread
    featured a guy in his 40s who couldn't even get cuddle pros to respond
    to his inquiries, presumably because of his age. So maybe she made a
    calculated decision that a younger age would make her more marketable.
    If so I can't really condemn her for that.

    I would like to know how OP knows of the alleged deception, and that her true age is a whole decade off. Is he going by appearance, or does he know for a fact what her true age is? In any case, the site is quite clear and up front about the fact that it does not verity or vet the pros in any way. We engage with them at our own risk, as they do with us.

    Age should not matter to professionals and it is against their contract but it is perfectly reasonable for casual cuddlers. For example, having good conversation is important to some people seeking cuddle friendships and having someone closer to your age can certainly help with that.
