On the topic of the thread: I think I'm most proud of my self-sufficiency, self-control, and work ethic. I grew up without reliable/trustworthy adults at the helm (in either my family or the communities I was raised in), and needed to take charge of my own health and safety from an early age. I feel like I've been able to make a good life for myself, and I have a lot of confidence in my ability to tackle adversity that comes my way.

@squeakytoy thank you for your kind words. I've done three since I took up the hobby again back in January. Hadn't done it for years. Baby Yoda went to some friends. It helps me relax. The van Gogh is taking about fifty hours. I do two to three hours a day. My hand isn't as steady as it used to be but I still enjoy it.
I can usually get first place in Mario Kart.
And when I don't I eat candy to make myself feel better.
I am awesome because I have no debt... so far, expect the small loan of the million dollar that donald duck gave me.
Can't think of anything that makes me awesome really. I help whoever I can and I treat everyone at least okay which doesn't really make me awesome. Not having debt so far doesn't make me awesome either, just probably makes me like 40% of the population. I think that's the minimal that most of us already do anyway treating others okay+.

@CallMeMikey - those paintings are really well done. I especially admire the Van Gogh one and the landscape with the boat.
If I had the hubris to say I was “awesome,” it would be solely because of the awesome family that raised me.
