@DarrenWalker
In this thread alone, count the number of warnings with deletions and tell me again its not agreement with the moderator which counts.
And yes, it is censorship in the broadest sense and exactly why I detest it.
Adios
@EasyPeasy: Count the number of warnings with deletions that didn't contain harmful misinformation, and tell me again it's not agreement with reality that counts.
I'm actually rather pleased to hear you're against even the broadest forms of censorship. Wait until you see me at your next party. (You cannot kick me out. No matter how annoying my soliloquies get. For that would be censorship.)
I hate libraries. They censor everyone at all times.
I hate prisons. Everyone in there has been censored.
A church censored me for moaning loudly like an elephant seal in heat during services. So unfair.
I was censored at Mir-a-Lago for expressing my dislike for Orange hair dye number 13.
...I'd quite like to have been censored before I told that gay boy he had to repress his desires and live pretending he didn't have them or else he would go to hell. I genuinely believed it at the time. But oh, man. The inaccuracy. The harm. If only someone had shut me up.
That would have been nice.
Alright guys, this thread's turned into a mess of flags. I'll be going through and cleaning it up. In the meantime, let's get back on topic. OP's original post says the following: "I'm NOT suggesting, or implying or telling anyone to get the shots. And I don't want or need to read any reply's about the why's and why nots about the shots. I'm not looking for any approval or NEGATIVE comments." Please respect his wishes from here on. Thank you.
For the avoidance of doubt, I've never seen anything "censored" by the management because they disagreed with it. Including constructive criticism of the site.
The only material that I've seen removed, or people banned for, are: things that aren't true; breaches of the TOS including being an arsehole; aggressively attacking the management or site; and nonsense posts.
Oh, and Cuddle Comfort is based in London, so the law of that land that applies is English Law.
@CuddleDuncan I am well aware of that but any organization actively operating in the US is subject to US laws just like US companies operating in England are subject to your laws. Does not matter where a company is based. This applies to all other countries as well.
Yes, indeed ...... I nearly deleted that comment because I am aware that the laws around internet stuff are tricky. If you are in the US and you post something on a website that breaks US law you're pretty much committing a crime in the US no matter where the website is based. However, if you wanted to sue the website over it, you'd have to do it in the English courts, under the law specified in the website's TOS. Or something like that. And of course that's before we even get to where the server is located.... And somebody posts something from international waters .....
I finally got my 2nd Covid vaccine shot today too!!! 😁
Congrats, @SuperManCuddles !!
Toronto finally opened up vaccine bookings to the general public (18+), so this morning I was able to get both of mine scheduled. Happy days! I'll be joining you guys soon (well, in a month).
