Best Cuddle Session Hotels? Other Indoor Cuddle Space Ideas?

So two main questions for everybody here:
1. Does anyone have favorite hotels that are particularly comfortable for cuddle sessions?
I'm surprised this isn't talked about more because when both a pro cuddler and a client/enthusiast can't host the most common 3rd party place to cuddle is a hotel.
Another thing I'm curious about is how other cuddle clients/enthusiast's feel about the added cost of buying a hotel room in in order to have a cuddle session. I should say that sometimes pros that don't host in their homes will occasionally rent a room for a night or two in order to host a bunch of sessions, that's also often the case when pros cuddle while they are traveling and it is definitely really nice when a pro offers that.
However, outside of that, finding a hotel for the session is on the client, who usually is only buying the hotel for that one session.
To me it seems like a waste to have to get a hotel room for a whole night when you may only use it for a few hours for one session with a pro cuddler. The common late afternoon check-in times and mid-morning check out times don't easily allow for an afternoon cuddle session (unless you have the same room booked a couple days in a row).
To me hourly hotels would be the best answer to this, but they are often associated with prostitution and they usually are not the safest, cleanest or most comfortable hotels by any means.
So my other question is: 2. Has anyone every been upfront with a traditional hotel in explaining you are using the room for cuddle session(s)? If so, how did you go about explaining it to hotel staff and how was it received by them? Has anyone ever had success in paying a lower fee for a traditional hotel room by working out a deal so you pay for the room by the hour instead of the whole night? Any other doable indoor cuddle spots that people have had success with?

  • Absolutely! There are tons of hotels that offer a "day use" rate. In between a booking the next day etc. Its usually done on a first come first serve basis and the only reason people feel funny doing it is like you said "past association" with shady business. Plenty of people are coming to town and need a little bit of a layover without an entire evening spent. Think about a business person coming into an airport, having a quick meeting and getting back on a plane that evening.... Nobody wants to stay in an airport the whole time.... Just call and ask... YOU will be so surprised!! Other fun indoor places are movie theaters of course and if its a new cuddle, even a local restaurant with fireplaces and comfy sitting areas or booths. If it was a traditional "dating" relationship you wouldn't feel funny snuggling up next to your favorite human while you are eating lunch or enjoying happy hour.... Its a GREAT place to initially connect. :)

  • Yes it's completely normal to book a hotel room for a few hours, and most hotels are keen to have your business. Business meetings. Girls (or boys) from work doing making up and having a laugh in preparation for a girls' night out. People just desperate for a kip or a decent shower.

In London it is standard for professional cuddlers to use therapy rooms. Here is a list of the places that I have cuddled with professionals: it may give you ideas on similar places. They are not always ideal because they are not set up for cuddling, but it's a solveable problem.

    Pop n Rest
Not actually therapy rooms, but 'nap pods'. They don't normally allow two people in a pod for obvious reasons, but have a special deal with some cuddlers not only to allow it but at a healthy rate.

    Hampstead Heath therapy rooms
The pink room is probably the best commercial room for cuddling I've been in

    Hurlingham Studios
Once, a long time ago, and I don't remember anything except that it was fine

    Brighter Spaces Islington
Not the most helpful management, apparently.

  • Two words: Hilton Honors 😊

  • Check out the Dayuse app.

  • Dayuse and DayBreakHotels apps, you can get 4-10 hour blocks starting at all hours of the morning.

  • Nothing special about the rooms but the local casino here gives me free weekday rooms all the time and that is what i use to host cuddle sessions, when it's free who cares if you just use it for a few hours

That is really cool, @oberon ! What a great idea! :)

  • Well if anyone is passing through Ann arbor Michigan there's a place called Therapeutic Cuddle Services located in Ann arbor right off of 23 the expressway. They are for pros rates at $25 an hour which can be split or paid by the client.
Open 24hrs unlike booking a hotel where check in is 3pm or sometimes later.

  • Wow I didn't expect so many great resources! @sillysassy I didn't know a "day use rate" was a thing for hotels. Though still to me it's one thing to have a hotel room for a few hours during the day to nap by yourself in, but if you meet someone there or potentially have a couple pros come in and out back to back it looks sketchy and I worry the hotel might investigate. Some of the pros I know have told me they have sometimes felt weird hosting in certain types of traditional hotels because of what it looks like when they have 10 clients come in and out of the room over the course of their stay - that's why I wonder if in the situation of having a high volume of clients coming through, it may be best to be upfront with the front desk/security that you are a professional platonic cuddler and you'll have clients coming through. @Gene2019 and @NYCLatnGuy I'll have to check those apps out! Thanks!
@oberon That's definitely a sweet arrangement you have there. Could you share how you get the free rooms at the Casino? Like is it part of some sort of membership or other deal you have with them?
@ElleCuddleMi Hmm that's neat! Like who runs that? Professional cuddlers?

  • @MattsWeather To be completely honest with you it is my clinic and I opened about a month ago. I was having a problem with hotels allowing early check in early for my clients so I decided I would open a clinic and allow pro cud
dlers to rent the space For convenience.

  • @OhioMike do tell. How do we get Hilton Honers?

  • @Tranquilescape Hilton Honors is just a loyalty points program through the Hilton family of hotels. All National hotel groups such as Marriott and IHG offer one. Just sign up on line. But you need to travel or book a bunch for it to matter. I travel all the time so I have a few hundred thousand points saved up.

  • @Tranquilescape , yes its a loyalty program as described above, but I think it is one of the best. You can also get a Hilton Credit card and use it for daily purchases or daily bills and rack up major points. I cant remember the last time I actually paid for a Hilton property and they have a huge family of them. My favorite is Hampton Inn. I'm closing in on a million points. Its crazy good. PS I DO NOT work for Hilton ! Caesars rewards is similar . Lots and lots of perks including "obnoxious ones lol

  • @ElleCuddleMi .....how cool In Ann Arbor? How did I not know this ? :)

  • @OhioMike yes in Ann Arbor.. I'm so excited. Mike your welcome to come check it out!! Yay..😀

  • Thank you so much @OhioMike . This is good information to know.

  • @MattsWeather yeah it's actually the Ceasars rewards program that @OhioMike mentions, just a loyalty program. I do like to play poker so I'm up there once a month earning points but it does not take a lot they always have extra rooms

  • @ElleCuddleMi I love those pictures!! Such a cozy space! That seems like exactly the cuddle office one would hope for! I wish cuddle offices were more common as opposed to pros just using there personal bedroom or a hotel. Having offices would definitely give the world a much more professional impression of this modality.
@CuddleDuncan I overlooked your initial post the other day, great suggestions! It's to bad similar flexible space isn't found as easily in the United States.

  • @MattsWeather it is the single most difficult issue I’m having. I’ve had to decline more than 20 people due to not having a hosting location and @ElleCuddleMi has the perfect setup. It is very ideal. I’m still looking. I’ve actually reached out to the holistic community not far from me, just looking for space to rent. Any other suggestions?

  • @Tranquilescape I'm right there with you! In my 5 years as a client there are many pros that I haven't been able to meet solely because of the difficulty finding a location when neither of us can host. I think the tricky thing is that not many professional cuddlers are in this as a full-time career, so they aren't up for investing in an office space like @ElleCuddleMi has. Which of course is fine, I just wish there were more space's like Elle's that could be rented for a couple hours here and there.
To answer your question, I haven't put much energy into this myself, but I could imagine you may be able to reach out to local massage therapists or psychotherapists to see if they may be interested in renting their space to you during off hours when they aren't using it. I'm sure if you look in the right places there's got to be at least a few that would be open to it. Especially since they'd be making extra money with little effort allowing you to use their space while it would otherwise sit locked up and empty.

  • +1 with @OhioMike re: the HHonors program - they’re easy to work with and the properties are consistently clean and well-managed, with the exception of some of the highway exit ramp locations that used to be Motel 6, EconoLodge, etc.

I also have good luck with Marriott’s Bonvoy location. Their amenities are pretty good, making a visit a mini-vacation for me and a better experience for the cuddle session, especially longer ones.

Both have easy-to-use apps -- this simplifies finding and booking a location. You can be on here finalizing the details of a session with someone and locate+reserve a room at the same time, then share the details

As far as the cost goes -- I don’t choose to host at home, so I bear the cost of the hotel and don’t mind doing so. It makes the overall experience better for both parties, especially on a first meeting. Rather than having to go to a stranger’s home, in an unfamiliar location, possibly at night, a well-known chain hotel like Hilton or Marriott is well lit, there are people around, security cameras and often often security staff on site, ample parking . . . less stressful for all

  • @Tranquilescape among other businesses I’m involved with is commercial office rentals The pandemic forcing people to work from home decimated the commercial rental market here in central Ohio. I couldn’t find renters at any costs. So I sold them and bought more rental homes in the suburbs which are a boom now. I’d like to think there should be some good opportunities for say smaller commercial rentals like 500 to 1000 sq feet that would rent for around $500 or so a month. Maybe even less. Here it’s a great time to rent commercial!!! Good luck either way 😊wish you best !

  • @MattsWeather and @OhioMike for your advice and direction. 🙂

  • You're welcome @Tranquilescape ! Thank you to everyone who offered such thorough input into this. If anyone has any more ideas at anytime we'd all love to hear them!

  • Confused here - or maybe naive.... but why would you need a hotel for a platonic cuddling session?

  • [Deleted User]squeakytoy (deleted user)

@Nelle It's for when neither party can host, but they'd rather not cuddle in a public place.

  • Great conversation here and lot of helpful information from everyone who provided their input. Thanks @MattsWeather for starting this thread.

  • @Sluna2323 this is the forum I was talking about
