That brings back memories, I haven't roller skated since disco died back in the late 70's
Roller skating is HUGE again at the moment. It's cool how things are cyclical.
I really like escape rooms, and not just going to do live action ones- I like the board game versions too, and I've actually written and built three myself that can be played at home, complete with props, audio clips, scripts, the works. I'm pretty pleased with them.
Another hobby I enjoy is art journalling/scrapbooking and making lists, usually of favourite films, books, books I want to read (TBR/to be read) projects I want to try, like sewing or craft projects.
I've also always enjoyed penpallling and got into it HEAVILY in the year before the pandemic. Then the virus started to affect the mail system and a first class postcard from London was taking a month to get here. Its back to normal now, but for a while I had to Facebook message people to stay in touch and I lost my mojo with it for almost a year and I'm only now starting to get back into it.
As a true motorhead, my hobby is old cars/trucks. I enjoy driving them and building, restoring them. I don't do it as a profit making venture, just for myself. I had a 1959 Jeep, 2 yrs. to restore, 59 Ford Conv., 8-1/2 yrs., 1953 Ford truck, 3 yrs. to build it. I was up to 12 cars/trucks at one time, but I down sized to 6 now. They do keep me busy, as I do all my own work on them. All total I owned owned around 112 cars/trucks/motorcycles. The conv., I have owned it for 36 yrs., It's a sickness, LOL

Aviation is my hobby/passion. Currently in the process of earning my instrument rating.
@parkwayvisual , I know the feeling, I'm a rusty pilot myself. I had a C-172 for several yrs., sold it 20+ yrs. ago, now looking to get back into it. I'm shocked how much the planes have went up in price. To buy back my C-172, it will be 4-5 times more then I sold it for. At my age I'm looking at Light Sport. Good luck with it.
I play drums and precision whenever I get the chance. I'm currently in 2 start up bands, another band that plays 2-3 times a month, and am playing for a musical. Usually in the summer I do a community band as well but Covid killed that last year, and this year is not promising. I currently own almost 50 percussion instruments besides two drumsets.
@waynewv Thanks for the kind words! The whole process can be challenging at times, but I'm having a blast every step of the way.
The only flying I've done has been in computer sims, is it anything like Microsoft's flight sim?
@MiniatureGeek Flight sim is surprisingly accurate with the depiction of the instruments and setup of the flight deck, but nothing can compare to the feeling of actually being in the real thing.
@creedhands I used to play the drums as well, and had a little band waaaay back during the last 2 years of high school. I'm looking to buy another set after all these years, just to have a little fun. @waynewv Meanwhile, I just bought this baby yesterday; I need to do some light work, clean, but I'm very excited! - even though my mechanics skills are close to zero...! I had a 2nd gen Camaro in grad school too, should never have sold it.

I collect postcards and am in an international postcard club. I enjoy both sending and receiving postcards from around the world.
I also refinish furniture and am teaching myself upholstery.
