Blocking people

  • Being block simply means that person doesn't want to talk to you for whatever reason. Nothing more. It doesn't say anything about you as a person. Somebody else would love your company. I'm not sure why this is an issue. I've been blocked because somebody didn't like something I said in the forum.

    Agreed, @Mike403
Presuming you know someone, who saw fit to block you, and declaring you know their reasons... Disingenuous, at best

Wow, looking at my blocked list, I realize I've hardly blocked anyone on here. Just 3 people, for various reasons. But I doubt any of them mind (or even know?). I don't particularly care if someone blocks me - I don't feel like anyone owes me their time.

Unless I'm investigating them for a report, hehe

  • I had been blocked for checking out her profile several time. don't take it personal, if she blocks me, it is ok, I move on, I don't block her in return, just to get revenge or to boost my own ego.

I block people if I don't like something they have said in the forums, because I don't want anything to do with that person.

Call it petty if you like, but I want a drama free experience here, and if that means blocking people that's what I'm going to do.

Same, @BuggleBear. Esp if what was said goes against my ethics or values, like bigotry, sexism, etc. It's not petty, it's just saving time

  • If I had a beer for everytime I was blocked by someone for an unknown reason, I'd be drunker than a dog.

I've blocked a couple of people for crossing the line and not following cuddle strick but simple rules...since my last block I have yet to get any requests to even chat. Does the site itself has its "blocking" i was told that I should keep text outside of CC is phone numbers are exchanged

    @hotpink879
Finding it hard to understand you.

Who advised you that you should communicate off site?

Every time I've been asked to communicate off site, as soon as I decline, the person reveals their real intention. It is ALWAYS site TOS violations. One of them admitted it was so he had another way to try and access my off site activity, and scoffed it was one sided, since he used an app for fake phone number, while doing that.

@hotpink879 I see you're a professional! Pros aren't supposed to exchange contact information with a client before scheduling a session using the booking panel. It's against TOS. Is that what you were asking about?

Otherwise, agreed with @MaullySterling - the folks who tell you they want to take things off-site ASAP are usually troublemakers (ie. guys who want to push for sexual stuff). So there are other reasons to keep communication on-site as well, at least until some trust is established.

  • @BellaSera
I like your post " I am mystified as to why people get so bent out of shape by others visiting their profile "

  • [Deleted User]cualtzin (deleted user)

I also agree with @BellaSera. The profiles I visit most belong to pros with whom I’m undecided. I may go back a number of times to read again and see if there’s something that will help me decide either way. Multiple visits from me don’t imply anything more than that.

The people I block almost always seem like decent human beings. I block because I don’t expect I will cuddle with them. Too many reasons too list why I would not cuddle with someone. But they’re not judgments on another person. They’re simply rooted in perceived compatibility.

  • We have all gotten blocked for reasons that don't make sense. In some cases, it's just after I have introduced myself to someone.

  • [Deleted User]arghdaddy (deleted user)

I agree with what most are posting. Really you should never take anything personal. I had a great meet up with a potential cuddle. Everything went really well, we seemed to really hit it off. But then she blocked me. Her reasons are her own and I guess we have to respect that. Either way you’re better off that that person blocked you.

I block people all the time all of the time due to my own personal life challenges. This life is far from easy. And we all have our own battles. I would hide these threads from me viewing them if I could.
