I wear a mask in the bathroom

I mean, it makes sense really.

I don't really

In public restrooms, at least, it actually does make sense—unless you like breathing toilet spume, anyhow.

  • what about mask on whilst take shower?

@poolman... you do remember that masks aren't supposed to be wet, right? And that if you get your mask wet you're supposed to change to a new one?

Geez. Some people go so far in their attempts to mock safety measures that they come off as the type to argue you shouldn't wear pants because you don't wear them in the shower. Come on, dude. There's a time and place.

  • There was a letter a woman wrote to slate.com for advice, her husband even wears a mask while having sex, he won’t take off the mask ever. Even eating he pulls it up and down between bites and wanted to know what she should do or just give up on the marriage. Both are vaccinated and he never leaves the house. That’s paranoia and derangement of the worst kind.

@Ironman294: I dunno about the worst kind—but it's definitely not mentally healthy. It's not even proper mask use. You'd think somebody that paranoid would know you're not supposed to touch the outside of your mask! Especially while eating....

  • I knew to wear a mask, even before I got to read the article back then, https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2020/08/200818142132.htm

  • If this thread devolves into anti-mask, anti-science, alternative facts, or personal attacks, I'm happy to shut this down in a hot minute.

I think that will be one that can last way past any mandated state rule.

@littermate I am pretty sure that will not deter ANYONE!!!! 😂😂😂

The other beautiful thing that came from wearing a mask is that you didn't have to always remember to get the spinach out of your teeth!!! hahahahha Ok.... I digress. (but I am STILL laughing!!!)

AAAAAAAAAAND Thank you @Sideon for helping us remember to be kind humans. This is what I think of you and all the Mods helping us stay on track. SO MUCH LOVE OUT TO YOU GUYS!!!! 💖🥰😍

Advantages to wearing masks (non-Covid related):
    a) You can be angrily clenching your teeth at someone and they won’t know.
    b) People are more likely to notice your beautiful eyes.
    c) An air of mystery.
    d) People don’t know about all those pimples on your cheeks and chin, and see that beautiful, clear forehead and think you’re 10 younger than you really are.
    e) It’s easier to ignore the foul smells of the city garbage, smog, sewage, public bathrooms, etc.

Disadvantages to wearing a mask (non-Covid related):
    a) It’s harder for someone to tell you’re smiling at them.
    b) People are more likely to notice the dark circles under your tired, broken eyes from all the sleepless, anxiety laden nights wondering when you’ll be working again.
    c) No one could see the glorious beard you had grown this spring!
    d) Aforementioned pimples wouldn’t be all over your face if you weren’t sweating in a mask all the dances time!
    e) It’s impossible to ignore the foul smell of your own breath (if you’re wearing your mask properly). Eat mints? Enjoy the burning when you exhale and that little bit of minty breath goes straight up out of your mask and directly into your eyes.

Am I the only one who’s noticed these things? 😂🤣
