Does anyone else have an issue with this website defaulting your filter to only show pros instead of everyone? Every other option I select will remain the next time I log in except this one. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Yes. We noticed it. I believe it is a feature, not a bug.
Ditto. I've been doing random searches across the country. Almost every time I start a new search --- even if I am only changing the search radius but not the location ---, it has defaulted back to Only Show Pros. It did not use to do this. Easy enough to undo once you realize it's happening, but one's first impression is that there are just no Enthusiasts in a given area.
Yes I thought it was just me so I’m glad you asked about it. I have that issue and sometimes it will change the city back to my default city even when I’m searching somewhere that I’m traveling. It’s always after I go to view a profile and then go back to my search. It seems to be a relatively new problem for me. Maybe like 2 weeks?
The Filter function is a little quirky. Eccentric, perhaps. Don't take it personally.
Commission from professionals is the only source of income the site has, so I don't think its unreasonable to default to them.
It doesn’t happen for me. However, there aren’t any pros near me.
It may be that the web$ite i$ doing $uggestive $elling .
If excluding enthusiasts from your local default search is a feature, then it's a design flaw. The site isn't Pro Cuddlers Galore; if it allows enthusiasts, it shouldn't be filtering them out by default
What browser are you all using? I'm on Chrome and search has never defaulted to Pros only for new searches, updating radius, etc.

Mine gets glitchy when I’m on my phone. It doesn’t do it when I’m using chrome on my laptop.
I know @mark has a desire for a SUCCESSFUL Cuddle Comfort which includes all of the aspects he has designed thank goodness. It does seem to default to what you e been using a LOT like gender preference or age etc as well as professional status or geographical location. The only time it is designed to do this is when we know someone has just registered as a client.
I'm not getting this on my end (Chrome on PC and Android). Hopefully we can figure this out.
Mine defaults back to a message that says “You are shit out of luck.”
I use FireFox and haven't seen this either - it always shows up as what I last set it to.
I see the same thing from android. I think it just defaults back to whatever category you searched for first.
Haven't tried the site on PC, but I do see this filter behavior in Chrome 91.0.4472.88 on Android 11.

My "private notes" aren't working currently in messages. Is this something you all have decided to keep over on the members profile? If not I wanted to let you guys know it was being quirky....... and I will just wait patiently until things work themselves out.
If you decided to change that feature...... I must tell you HOW MUCH I LOVE HAVING THAT FEATURE!!! 😂 It makes everything much more convenient and eliminates the need to always check a member's profile for a few details that you can't remember (because I am OLD and my memory is not serving me as well as it once did)

I think just using the Contact Form linked at the bottom of the main website is the way to go.

So now it seems that nothing but professionals show up on my search even if I switch it to “Don’t mind “. It does look like the default to professional only has been fixed but now I don’t see any enthusiast. Thoughts??
It was a bug @Chrismiles2424 - your search results should show enthusiast now.
Mine isn't letting me change the Pro setting. It shows everyone. It's a bit disappointing to see a whole load of new people, then see the "Pro" indicator. OS: Windows 10 Browser: Edge Build: 91.0.864.41
