    @DarrenWalker and I have recently been playing The Innsmouth Case on Switch while curled up in bed. Darren got a Switch Lite earlier today, and we're excited to go through Torchlight 2 together, and we're also looking forward to Doki Doki Literature Club Plus, and Diablo 2 Resurrected.

    I was practically raised Amish, so video games are like magic to me. They're so cool. And gaming with another person? Amazing. And now we can do it lying down!

    It's going to be awesome.

    I enjoy Amish Demolition Derby night at a speedway.

    Yes—it has actually happened or so a client of mine in Pennsylvania told me. I like to believe it is real as that would be magic to me—technology free mayhem.

    I've been mindlessly shooting and looting in Borderlands 3 for a while now, but I highly recommend Tales from the Borderlands for a comfy - and hilarious - game!

    Skyrim is another go-to.

    @FunCartel

    And the leftover debris is used to do decorative work at the next barn raising?

    (By the way, Amish barn raisings are AWESOME. And watching videos of them online is an amazing, if highly ironic, rabbit hole…)

  • @CharlesThePoet I think you are to something! Repurposing buggies!

  • @Skywalk3r what a fun username and PHOTO omgoodness! WELCOME TO THE SITE!!!! I haven't found any fun gamers except my 16yo..... He USED to cuddle with me but now he's like "Moooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmm" 🤣 We BeatSaber together with his VR and I am always asked to watch Dark Souls with him (because I am HORRIBLE at it!). hahhahaha The OkieDokieLiterature Club was fun because we did all the voices.... @DarrenWalker and @DarkLordChungus you both are so fun! Maybe some fotting here and there? Docking for SURE! (raised practically Amish..... I know what you mean!!! Atari was the DEVIL!!!! oh wait.... That dates me doesn't it? @FunCartel will relate to this antique!)

  • Stellaris, when it's working, is a fun game to play and you can use one hand to play it.

  • @Skywalk3r i concur with everything @sillysassy said about your name & picture.
    What kinda lizard is that?
    I think I know but not sure

    @sillysassy: This might be slightly off topic, so I'm throwing it in a spoiler.

    When I say "practically Amish," what I mean is that Mom didn't see the point of a microwave (she had a stove! who needs a microwave when you have a stove?) our dial-up internet was only used to check AOL for messages from Grandma, the TV only went on when Mom or Dad wanted to watch something (maybe a couple times a month), video games were tools of the devil and we weren't allowed to play them anywhere at any time, we didn't go to public school, Dad was the local preacher, we had to stop playing with the neighborhood kids and go inside for the day if even one of them said a "bad word," taking care of the two-acre garden was a big part of the day, one of my favorite games was Mancala, which we played in the dirt with rocks....

  • @DarrenWalker im sending you millions of hugs🫂🫂

    Aw, thanks @Melomaniac9. I'm really looking forward to Torchlight 2! Games with more or less stable cameras are great for folks who didn't grow up playing—and I'm getting a real feel for the basic controllers! I'm gonna play a magic-using character. Hellfire and damnation, here I come!

    (Seriously, I'm super excited. Video games are fun, and @DarkLordChungus is an excellent gaming buddy.)

  • Does anyone enjoy Mortal kombat?
    What did you think about the newest release movie 🎥
    🍿
    I am not a huge fan of street fighter , but I find Tekken my second favourite
    It’s that brown bear 🐻 Kuma with the salmon 🍣 that amuses me

  • Pacman anyone?? Ms. Pacman?? Frogger.... 😂😂😂 Sorry folks.... I am learning though and all the fun stuff you throw out makes me look smart to my kiddo! So thanks for that.
    @DarrenWalker

    I actually love that we chat in a spoiler. This feels so grownup and mature of us as HUMANS!!!! #totallynotmakingfunofanyothercuddlecomfortuser I grew up crazy conservative as well just different crazy. We had a TV but never went swimming because that meant a bathing suit. Coulots were worn under the below the knee length skirt for gym class. Certainly no dancing or cussing. My sis and I were in a knockdown dragout teenager fight in the kitchen and my Momma slammed the oven door and said "DAMNIT GIRLS" We KNEW she was so so so out of control mad!!! hahahhahaha My dad was certainly NOT the town preacher and he said "Just don't get caught" but the hell fire and brimstone always made me a lil too nervous to act out! No wonder we both have a few things that get us pretty fired up! I have to ask and maybe at this point it should be in a PM.... How do they feel about the cuddle world?

    @sillysassy: Pokemon with its eeeevilution!

    My parents don't know a whole lot of stuff about my life. Even before I moved out, they adopted a "don't ask, don't tell" policy in regards to me (on account of I'm irredeemably damned, so they just gave up). Even when they ask, all I have to do is raise an eyebrow and say, "Are you sure you want to know?" and more often than not they'll retract the question.

    My parents know me very little, and that little is a bit too much for them. A very conservative group, my family. They'd probably be shocked and horrified by even this wonderfully tame website (at least at first).

  • @DarrenWalker Those speed racer games with the bikini clad flag waver!!! 😲

    at least Donkey Kong followed the traditional "Princess needs to be rescued by tough guy who beats big strong hairy animal" but still EVIL! My son was just talking to me about how inventive the old game producers were when they had to work with such a small amount of memory. Using ONE sound for more than one character and just speeding it up or slowing it down etc. We were talking about GPU and CPU and the new type of RLX no wait.... Shoot that's not right. DANG! I already lost it!!! Thank goodness he loves to read books too so we can talk about that and I don't sound like a goober. Gosh I wish I could've met you both when you were here. I suppose a trip won't be too far out.... I am wondering WHO might be up for a road trip...... Hmmmmmmm I can imagine the conversations would go on for HOURS with you!!!! So much fun.

  • @sillysassy , you rememer Pac - man ? I played so much of that in college........

  • @Recluse I played a decent amount of mk9. And the older ones as a kid. I find the new ones to be too heavily monitised so I stopped paying attention to them.

  • For me I just like playing something idle-ish while relaxing. RuneScape or Among Us would be my go-to. Sometimes I like playing Rozen Maiden Alice Battle, which is a game I'd been trying to download for like 15 years. I don't ever stay relaxed when playing it though. I finally got it onto my work computer which is an old Lenovo T410. The kid in me is so happy.
