@Dylan2693 ~ "I don't see an issue with cuddling turning into more."
As long as there's been a pause/cooling down period/regrouping, with convo and consent. Right?
@quixotic_life wise
Anyway, it's not absurd! Sheesh! Have some self control and respect for yourself and those you're with
When did I say anything about not having self control? My point is that attraction is possible in any scenario. does being attracted to someone mean you don’t have self control? Did I say that you or them or me or whoever will be attracted to every body you cuddle with / or even any at that? Heck you could be at the library 📚 or walking your dog in the park 🐶 & come across someone you find attractive , wether physically or personality wise or both …
There are a few really good reasons behind not acting on urges during a cuddle, even if both agree.
Ummmm 🤦♂️
^ this after the disclaimer …. I’m pretty convinced that some people here …….. ummmm ….. Nevermind let me be nice 😊
I need to seriously work on getting a PR team, have you all volunteer for a sensitivity level evaluation so Everytime I comment , they could help me Taylor my thoughts to universally & simultaneously be appropriate & understandable for each & every one of you ☺️
@cuddles_ndream ~ Wow!!! My bad 100%
I just reread your post and I clearly misinterpreted it. Sorry about that. I let my triggered self spill over on to you. I think I may have copied and cited you but was intending to do that with another. I'd scrolled to look for it and landed on your first paragraph thinking that was it.
Sheesh! Some people need to just calm the heck down! Me... I'm talking about me here. 🙇♀️
Thanks for writing back on that ~ and for keeping it "nice" (and humorous too)! 🙂
@quixotic_life thank you …. & as much as I want to send a hug emoji as well as other endearing ones, I will pass on this time around … I feel like lately I’ve been trying to be welcoming of you & a bit vulnerable & understanding & somehow my character (& everything I stand for or I’m completely against) comes into question … I don’t know if its because of certain friendships/ or genuine misunderstandings/ or maybe something else, but I don’t want there to be another time … A few minutes ago I even thought wow, even if I had the opportunity to cuddle with her or chat with her at a CC event, I wouldn’t put myself in that position in order to avoid any type of misunderstandings with any interaction …. I think you’re a special person and I hope you understand me, & thanks again - wishing you a genuine blessed journey (which is one of many) ty.
@cuddles_ndream ~ I get that, and you're not the only one. But if ever we do cross paths, I hope you'll be willing to at least say, "Hi", so you can get the tone, inflection, mannerisms, etc. behind all the text ~ and either confirm, "Yep, that tracks." or "Whoa, not what I'd imagined." and will realize I'm not as bad as I some times come off...
Also...
Are you by chance referring to this from the "Projecting" thread when you said, you wanted to avoid misunderstandings?

Because I'm not seeing any other recent interactions that might have made you feel defensive/called into question by me.
@cuddles_ndream you get it!
“Disclaimer: being attracted to someone does not equal to pushing and or disrespecting set boundaries or acting out of line, we are all adults & respect comes first as well as maintaining professionalism“
A majority of the clients I’ve cuddled through various platforms have shown varying degrees of attraction to me, it’s something I expect and know how to manage, as my experience as a woman.
I’m fine with someone being enamored with me, so long as I’m still treated as a person and not some idealized version, especially if that false image of me returns their attraction.
I’ve had clients I was repulsed by go in for a kiss, all because I showed up to be compensated, they assume I return their attraction.
I’ve actually researched this phenomenon because it kept appearing in my life, humans are inclined to believe that people they are strongly attracted to share their same feelings. Even ignoring social cues. It’s wild.
@CuddleCutie98 Yes, this has happened to me as well, even when I've thought I was being really damn obvious that I didn't feel the same way about someone. It's one of the dangers of just trying to read someone's body language instead of getting explicit consent - your interpretation of their body language could be strongly biased to what you want to see.
@quixotic_life What??? So go ahead and "test" with an Enthusiast??? As someone who was assaulted by a "tester", who thought he was "reading" me... I find this way of thinking insanely problematic!! And, yes, triggering - Very!!

Ah, let me reword that, you shouldn't "test" anyone's boundary who you meet in the platonic context of this site. It gets especially weird when its a pro and you are exchanging money for a service.
Ah! @MCcuddles2 ~ Whew!!! Thanks for rewording that!! 😅
@CuddleCutie98 thank you so much, I really appreciate that! You & squeakytoy made excellent statements - “ humans are inclined to believe that people they are strongly attracted to share their same feelings. Even ignoring social cues.” & “ your interpretation of their body language could be strongly biased to what you want to see.”
I hope every single body gets a chance to read these 2 powerful statements, especially those who just went threw a breakup / feeling down & needing love-affection / or those in hopes of getting a bit more than just cuddles (explanation not needed I think).
