Do you dwell on the past? šŸ•°

If you could go back in time, would you change certain things or events for a more promising today, or leave things the way they were as experiences makes us who we are … 🌌

    Of course I would buy Google stock/early Bit Coin/Amazon stock…

    But in this ā€œcultureā€ the vast majority of my problems would be solvable with money…

    Which, of course, is one of the biggest problems with this ā€œcultureā€.

  • I try not to dwell on the past. Not saying I always succeed.

    @CharlesThePoet i feel you are very fortunate that the majority of your problems (or the things you would change in your past) are monetary, respectfully.

  • Doesn’t matter if you go back in the past. If you screwed things up once, then you will probably do it again as well. You are what you are.

    ā€œI knew a woman.
    Became a wife.
    These are the very words she used to describe her life:
    She said, ā€˜A good day
    ain’t got no rain.
    On a bad day I lie in bed
    and think about
    what might have been.’ ā€

    @cuddles_ndream

    Oh no, most of my problems are not solvable, at all.

    But the money would solve the other problems, and make everyone more comfortable while enduring the rest.

  • @cuddles_ndream @CharlesThePoet most problems can be solved, or at least significantly improved, by the application of enough money. Not recognising that you have a problem is of course the biggie that can't.

  • When I think too long about the past, all of these chemicals in my head get confused and lose sight of the bigger picture.

    I could’ve made half as much or twice as much money, my life would be essentially the same.

    @Mela_B I also try not to dwell on the past. But sometimes it catches up with me in unexpected ways.

    If I could revisit the past I would change a few of my decisions. I would follow my instincts instead of simply trying to please people. You can never please everyone, and someone will always be disappointed.

  • All I do is dwell on the past. It has hindered everything. The best I can do I try to live each day to each fullest. You dwell on the past, you get depressed. You think about the future, you get anxious. Try and practice mindfullness and things tend to work out.

  • No not really

  • @Mela_B same

    I could see people saying they would change things if they could, or not as they value the experience … and there are many reasons one may want to change an experience, maybe they stayed too long in a relationship , maybe they gave their loyalty to the wrong person , probably didn’t follow their passions - dreams / didn’t properly say goodbye to someone or got taken advantage of at a very vulnerable situation which they would love to re-do ect and the list really goes on, but never thought any of these things would be seen as a personal screwup by someone’s lense.

    @CharlesThePoet - glad you make the statement that money doesn’t solve everything (I believe it doesn’t solve most things regardless of popular belief)

    @CuddleDuncan i kindly disagree, but I know that this is what most people think (as far as money), so my opinion is not very popular, or the popular response that follows (if it doesn’t, than give me all your money lol)

    @NicoSnuggs Sooo true!!

    @cualtzin everything you said - šŸ’Æ!

    @Libra0 I agree 🌌

  • I'm lucky I remember any of my past, never mind dwell on it.

    I try not to regret anything I've done; because at that point in time, it was what I WANTED to do.

  • Yes, way too much, it's messing me up 😢

  • @Cheskalina hugggzzzz!! 🌌
