How do you think professional cuddling can be improved?

Just trying to get a sense of how the professional cuddle community can stand to be improved. Any helpful suggestions would be much appreciated. Since this is such an emerging market, it's important that we come together to make improvements together! :)

    The problem with making it too cookie cutter perfect is you wont have as much variety of people. And it would be really hard to weave out the bad apples with the good apples :I

    I don't know about other companies but cuddle comfort has no training program. All of the pros work as independent contractors and not as employees of the site.

    The actual "cuddle party" group does give training. ( they charge for it)  They also charge a one-time fee if you want to join the group and be able to post on their site about when you are having a cuddle party.  They also have someone connected that trains people to become professional cuddlers. Personally I think this forum is more helpful to professional cuddlers then any training you might get but that is just my opinion. 

    One thing I would like to see on the forum would be a like or some kind of expressive emoji that you could use to show your feelings about someone's comment.  That way you could express your support for someone without needing to always tag them or type out something.

    I would love it if there were some free basic training or guideline sessions for it. I feel like it would benefit everyone if we had basic safety and comforting touch sessions. There are people and websites who offer training but I've seen some cost up to $400. I love this type of work but sorry I do not think I would want to pay that much.

    hese forums do help though. Like if this site just made a couple of posts that had to be read and signed in agreement I think that would be cool. A lot of people are giving good advice on cuddling and safety and it would be great if it were all in one post like in links or something. 

    I am obsessed with forums so I like lurking haha.

    For booking, maybe a calendar could be added so the cuddle requester can put his/her information at their desired day and time and we can have the option of confirming or denying.

    The pros could also gray out days and times they are unavailable. Straight to the point and less back and forth about finding the best day/time

    The planning for something like that is complete but as it's a major feature so will take some time.

    A calendar wouldn't be the best idea. I've been in Customer Service for over 10 years and I've yet to come across a scheduling platform that I enjoy using. Every one of the calendar programs that I've had for booking clients created more problems and didn't compare to customer interaction and physically booking the appointments myself. Creating a booking system for the site will take away the freedom that we have to run our business and when we choose to book. Clients will try and book last minute appointments when Pros think they have the day off. It's also important to discuss when/ where you will be meeting before booking appointments. What if someone books you 60 miles away, then the next appointment is booked at your house immediately after without your knowledge? We would have so many Pros complaining about how they missed their appointments due to scheduling conflicts or from simply not knowing they were booked last minute. You can use the calendar app or google calendar if you want a place to input your personal appointments.

    What CuddleBunny88 says 100%.  I use google calendar for my own organization, and prefer the option to accept or reject cuddle requests - especially last minute when I may not even see it.  

    ETA: Karyn, just seeing your comment now.  There is free training, and it's pretty extensive, when you sign up with a company. I use SBs, though I know there's a lot of unusual hate for them on these boards so no msgs or responses outside of Karyn for this please. I imagine the other companies do this, as well, as it helps the cuddlers train, improve, and learn to set clear communication and boundaries with clients.
