Working Made-Up Words into Everyday BLARDARP.

While having an ordinary cuddle conversation with someone, I think it is fun to casually insert a nonsense word into a sentence to see if the other person notices.

It can be, in my geherble-nertzer, a source of innocent merriment and threlve.

  • I tried it once. I said, "Do you happen to have a stondle?" and to my astonishment she said yes and went and got it. She did not at all understand why I wanted it, obviously. Most embarrassing cuddle experience so far.

  • I work in fou yuck at every opportunity. I don’t do yuck fou because it sounds like a fish egg delicacy of some sort.

In sales this technique is called a Blue Cow.

If you throw the words “blue cow” into your pitch about four or five sentences in, and they don’t respond, then they are not actually listening.

You should move on to the next target.
