@Maverick07 Not many options at all. Masking, washing hands and getting the vaccine. Saw my first person be pulled from a line because they had a fever two weeks ago at LAX. Their temp was 102. They were selected because they were sweating and looked like hell. Don’t know if they actually had Covid. Don’t know how some can want to fly with a 102 degree temp. That high of a temp would knock me on my ass.

On a side note my boss is planning on sending me to Dubai because we have so much business coming out of there. Normally I am a road warrior but I am taking a hard no on that right now. I live with risk but no use turning the risk dial to 11.

Trying to fly with a 102 temp isn’t wise and risks others health. But there are so many time dependent things that could cost significant money, people are willing to endanger others to avoid personal loss.

Yea, India is not the place you want to be. Vaccination deaths are very low, as well as hospitalization. But, India has a very low vaccination rate, dense population, high infection rate, and overwhelmed health system.

Getting Covid or just randomly injured, there is very little healthcare to be had, and few ways to get out of India.

  • @FunCartel my comment wasn't Covid-related, actually.
I was vaccinated in April, and also been traveling a little more: last week in KS, and next one in TN - nothing international though... but I want to go to Brazil to visit family next month.
I'd be nice to find someone to cuddle n Nashville, but I don't even think that I'll have a break.
    Stay healthy and safe travels!

  • On my mind? I'm ready for another lockdown so I don't injure myself at work because I'm over doing it. I'm tired and I hurt. I also need a better car, one that has cruise control and good MPG (17MPG sucks). I need a vacation, like to get away, but I can't afford it.
