Why is cuddling viewed as a value loaded exchange as opposed to an equal value exchange?

@Burny91 - Some questions you should ask yourself and others is if time = money and if supply and demand is a real phenomena or not.
If it does and it is, then you have to ask yourself why that is?
Cuddling itself is not however one can incorporate it as a monetized service f they like and that's why pro cuddlers are an option. If you dont want to pay to cuddle then dont hire a pro . But dont complain that they exist as many people enjoy as well as benefit from the services they provide .
People have monetized and commodified many, many forms of affection, touch, etc, for hundreds of years. If you want to know why people are still doing so, please have a look at capitalism and the many unpleasant side effects we're all struggling through.

What bothers me most is that when doing what I love, being creative, trying to make beautiful things or music, I am making it, but sometimes barely...
If I wanted to go back to being comfortable, and essentially wealthy, all I have to do is go back to the profession of my youth: Thuggery.
Makes it hard not to conflate making real money with causing real harm. (Or, of course, getting really lucky...)

@Mela_B and @CharlesThePoet ~ Sometimes I wish I could find other like minders to go all in with in purchasing and island and giving a finger to money/capitalism while embracing self-sufficiency. But then I remember I'm human and have vulnerabilities, especially around big change/loss and my mind shifts to, 'Would drinking the cool-aid make sense if in that pressurized head-space?' and end up with continuing to make do with what is. But damn I hate money! - The restrictions and limitations, the leisurely rewards, and the total imbalance of it all!! Bleck! š¤š¤®
@quixotic_life that is my dream come true. I already live a pretty idyllic life, but I think actual extraction from society would be lonely, and I can't hang because I'm an extroverted social butterfly. Can't win. š„“
