Ok is it just me or does anyone else need to be layered in blankets when cuddling ? I’m always super freezing and need to be warm at all times. I need the fan on high to sleep which makes things funnier.
There should be a third option - "Few/some blankets"
Light blanket or sheet , or just use each other as blankets with air set on cold as two bodies at 98.6 degrees create plenty of heat when smooshed together
The more blankets the better, I like how heavy they feel!
I will go with the few or some blankets too.
Great question, and something I always discuss with potential cuddle partners along with lighting, music, room temp, etc. Entirely depends on room temperature. One occasional partner is anemic and requires an 80+ degree temp, which of course rules out blankets. Another likes the room to be mid-60s or lower—blankets galore!
I usually like to cuddle with multiple blankets, but my main blanket often gets jealous of my side blankets, so I sometimes can only cuddle with my main blanket so that my main doesn’t leave me to become another cuddler’s blanket.
Because I am wearing a very soft, well-maintained, and built-in fur coat I tend to use a sheet, at maximum.
But I am happy to wrap the blankets, and my arms, around any shivering cuddling partners.
It’s either one way or the other for me. I’ll have two blankets and a fan going or shorts and a tank top and the air conditioner on hi. No middle ground
I'm absurd. I need the air conditioning on, and a blanket, and I have to have one leg out of the blanket. 😂
@Mela_B ditto on one foot sticking out! If both legs are under the blanket, I’m sure that I will either melt or die!
For me this is totally situational. While being wrapped in warm blankets it’s comforting and safe feeling, sometimes it’s toasty and I prefer no blankets. Really just depends on our mutual comfort level.
