Hey just curious if you remember when you signed up here .

For me it’s going on 5 years so I don’t unfortunately. They say as you get older there are 3 things to go first. Number one is your memory and I have forgotten the other two 😂

Anyways it seems when people sign up here they blow right past the pro or enthusiast designation. Is there a question at the beginning or box at the beginning that ask you are you planning on being a pro or enthusiast? Just curious 🧐

    I remember when I first signed up just over 4 years ago and was a complete and utterly insufferable b-word. Got myself banned because I thought I was a cowboy and could do what I liked because "i'M An aDuLT". I had a nasty attitude.

    Oh, the joys of growing up! I have the community to thank in part for that. You guys are awesome.

    @OhioMike I actually don't remember what kind of screen was offered when I signed up, even on this account. But I would think something like this would be useful.

    @OhioMike , I was told the three things that happen are that you start repeating yourself, you start repeating yourself, and I can’t remember the third one.

    I do remember when I signed up. I was bottoming out and a friend said to me they thought there was some kind of website for cuddling. I went online and found this place. Within 15 minutes of signing up I had a response and within half an hour I had five or six people contact me and it was, I think, maybe 9 p.m. I was blown away. I now know that when new women sign up this is common, to get inundated with messages.

    I don’t remember what kind of screen was offered, either, regarding being a pro or a non-pro enthusiast.

    @Catloaf, I can’t imagine you being a b****! You seem so reasonable and level headed! We all have room to learn, I’m glad you stuck around.

    @OhioMike, I think what would be more helpful would be a woman's guide to CC - one version for pros, by pros, and another for enthusiasts, by enthusiasts.

    I still remember when I signed up. I noticed the option of being a pro right away but that's because I was looking for it. So it is there but you can always become a pro later too.

    @Cuddle_RN yes I definitely see what you mentioned would be helpful.

    It just seems to me there is an increase of people wanting clients and help getting clients but they aren’t even pro yet and they want help from the community here. I know the old saying you can lead a horse to hay or oats but can’t make it drink or burp or something like that 😂. But it seems that when you joined originally you choose a pro path or enthusiast path and there’s steps proceeding from there.

    It seems odd to me someone joining here and are clueless about the pro side of things…. did they not see that? I do understand you can change back either way as we have had many do that .

    I was the opposite of most of the newcomers. I read ALL the stuff for a whole year before I posted on the forums or talked to people IN REAL LIFE!!!!

    I remember same. Just hanging out in background definitely not chatting on forum because I didn’t know anything and just wanted to learn and read about the community

    I remember when I first signed up on Cuddle Comfort on February 2018 as a new pro from New York. I wanted to be a pro & it shows that option & a clear instructions on how to register your new account as a new pro.

    People where I live aren't able to sign up here, I'm using a vpn. I understand, most people here anren't able to understand what does platonic cuddling means...

    .. in 2018 i got to know this culture (abroad), then, I read a lot about it and here am i... alone and sad... thousands of miles away from someone who can have cuddles with me...

    @OhioMike Are you referring to enthusiast untagged pros charging for their services? If so, I don't know how they not know how to register their account as a pro. It's very clear instructions here how to do it.

    Signed up not long ago. Maybe March of this year. Had NO IDEA professional cuddlers were real. Tripped over this clip in youtube and a bit later started googling and found this site. Had my first session maybe 2 months ago. It was WONDERFUL !

    @CaringSoul yes untagged pro. Just seems to be a few more than usual and they ask for help with clients, business etc. and its like whoa! You're not even a pro! How'd you miss that part of signing up? I was just thinking maybe its not that clear when they originally sign up. :)

    I thought the sign-up process was pretty clear on which path you want to pursue, but then again, I try to read before clicking on the Internet 🤷🏽‍♂️

    I've had three different accounts on here. The first one I made in September of 2013, then deleted in time for 2014 to begin because most everyone in my area was not active and I was unemployed at the time. The second one I made in early 2017 and deleted in September of 2018 due to a misunderstanding on a thread I had started on here. So here's my third account since late 2020, and I'm really here to stay this time unless a future cuddle buddy or romantic partner asks me to agree to delete it.

    Yeah…it was just about a month ago. This brave new world opened up to me and so far I have had two terrific sessions with two wonderful women. Having gone through touch deprivation for over 4 years before this month, I feel like a new man.
