Seeing that on the grill made me think of this.
I like the post above. Disagreements on things are really a case-by-case basis. In other words it depends on what we're agreeing/disagreeing with on. For example I'm okay with disagreeing with things such as, "I prefer coffee over tea" or, "I choose not to have children," or vice versa. What I'm not okay with is when people say things like, "coffee is superior to tea, and you suck for liking tea." Or, "oh you say that now, but you'll change your mind about kids later." Because you can agree or disagree with someone without being an asshole or self righteous douchebag about it.
Just wanted to add that to the conversation as well.
