  • @MissAdventurous As always your gentle hand cuts a clear path through the dark forest of bullshit. Bravo! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

  • And .... Onlyfans have changed their mind.

  • They just announced that they are completely scrapping the policy. Either it was a publicity stunt or they saw how much money they would lose.

    @Mike403

Likely the latter, but maybe someone on their team is that smart…

My content is back up on there. I am HotDogandBuns2021. I have video of a culturally unique sock puppet show you can pay to watch. Good clean fun for the whole family over the age of 21.

Let me give you the history of my β€œentertainment” act.

As a young man I performed with knee highs.
In middle age I switched to mid calf.
Now I perform in ankle socks.

The show is more β€œintrospective” now. But I can definitely leave them wanting more now days.

Please donate. Two words: sock overhead

My personal feeling is to be glad that OnlyFans is taking a stand against censorship measures that are thinly disguised as public safety laws.

And I am very interested to see how they handle the incoming litigation.

@timetocuddle07 Well, Backpage along with Craigslist were hugely problematic platforms and knowingly profited off the traffickers that used it. The CEOs and VPs were also absolute scum human beings. Mothers who found their trafficked (and often missing) childrens' content on there were allegedly contacting the company asking them what they intended to do about it, and nothing was done. They also contacted porn sites that hosted the content asking for it to be removed, and further, nothing was done.

I would assume that OF is a little more conscious and wouldn't be so quick to let so much BS go down on its platform.

Like I said earlier in the thread, I'm not against sex work. I just don't want it to be easy for anyone to get into it, for various reasons. Not everybody's made for it, or mentally stable enough to do it authentically, and with the positivity dialogue can come a lot of people being angled towards it when they really shouldn't be. Kids who make content on TikTok for instance that says, "I'll just make an OF when I turn 18" as if they really haven't given much thought as to what sex work can entail.

And yeah, that was something that was actually going on.

  • Thank god, I was about to lose my main revenue stream.

  • Huh. My understanding is the change was due to the financial backers they were courting that would have moved them from grossing millions to billions. But these targeted investors weren't willing to take the risk on a sex heavy platform. So the change announced.

But oops... that's their largest revenue maker. So they must be settling on only making millions for now... πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Yay, capitalism.
