Do You Watch While Cuddling?

I've watched movies, shows, and YouTube videos while cuddling. When I was with a professional cuddler I showed her some anime (Ronin Warriors). I also watched some YouTube videos such as Suction Cup Man and Nostalgia Critic reviews. Hell one time we actually watched Mickey's Christmas Carol while cuddling during the holiday season.

What are some other things that people have watched while cuddling if that's what they do?

  • In my early days with one of my first clients, we did end up watching some anime. That client is a good friend now of several years and we share recommendations often, though I don't check into his recommendations often (I get too emotionally attached to whatever series I'm watching). Another client of mine talked about anime with me, and one of their favourite shows ended up becoming one of mine! Knights of Sidonia for reference. Was really happy that they recommended that title to me because space opera anime was something I hadn't really tried.

  • I’m into watching the sitcom ‘mom’ as well as those HLN mystery shows and Shark Tank.

  • I watch my breath and my thoughts, cause I meditate while I cuddle.

  • @MCcuddles2 🤗

Basically what he said. I prefer/tend to unplug and be present especially when I only have such limited time with someone.

  • Watching something is for when I am not cuddling or bored.

  • I have to agree with @FunCartel . When I'm cuddling, I want to focus 100% on whoever my current partner is that I'm cuddling.

  • I like to have music channels playing in the background.

  • I would never watch a screen while cuddling. Cuddling absorbs far more of me than, say, driving. You can't watch TV while you're driving, you sure as hell can't watch TV while you're cuddling.

However, it is sometimes nice to cuddle while I'm watching TV. But that's a very different thing, and not what the OP asked.

To start off a cuddle session, I like to pick a movie or TV show from one of the various streaming platforms (Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube TV).

I’ve watched a few seasons of Impractical Jokers and Magic for Humans (over several cuddle sessions), and various movies.

One of my first cuddles with a fellow beginner we watched Army of Darkness. If was fun to bond over ridiculous cult classics and break the ice, especially since both of us were nervous and not really sure what we were doing. We just knew that we both wanted cuddles and needed comfort. But now that I have more experience, I don't mind something being on, but I'm definitely focused on the cuddle and not really watching.

    This is my BOOMSTICK!

Honestly, my favorite thing to "watch" while cuddling on a sofa is a baseball game.

Something kinda sorta comforting (to me) in the background that I can comfortably ignore.

  • I prefer not to watch any shows at all, but If I do watch something, I will watch some short clips on youtube. I would rather spending most of the time snuggling, submerse in the feeling of touch.

  • When I started cuddling, I thought I'd end up watching movies, but as it turns out, it just isn't really a thing most people want to do. And I'm ok with that.

  • Having had 2 sessions so far, having been starved of affection and regard up until now, I don’t want anything to distract from the feeling of just being with somebody. Even if it is just for a few hours a couple of times a month I just want to feel like I matter and we can share just being together.

  • When cuddling with friends, we often watch a movie. There’s all sorts of forms of cuddling. What is a distraction in one circumstance can be an enhancement in another.

  • Great perspectives ! Completely agree with @Babichev , very well said. I enjoyed a recent session in which at one point we found ourselves laying snuggly together in his bed and watching some amazing videos he had made himself on his cell phone. The videos were honoring a lost friend and a birthday tribute and I was blown away by the pictures, sentiment and heart of the person I was so lucky to be cuddling. Sometimes watching something, whether it be a YouTube video about a shared topic of interest, something more special or intimate or even just a favorite show or movie can truly bring you that much closer. Just my thoughts ...

  • I could go either way. It is something each client and I could discuss. Everyone has their own preference and reasoning.

  • As far as watching - comedy is my go to - one of those silly old school / high school movies like superbad ect would be gold to share laughs … I tend to lean towards music though … if my cuddle partner is into SlowJamz / R&b / SoftRock .. than the cuddle is amazing before it even started ☺️ (Or just simply music in general)

  • I get that people who like TV might want to watch while cuddling (or do they cuddle while watching?) .. . . but I don’t watch TV. This is totally subjective, I admit, but I can’t imagine why someone would want to watch TV while cuddling . . . i prefer to listen to music and talk. Of course that’s what I’d want to do in a non-cuddling situation too, so there’s that.

  • I once watched the slowly changing images of the setting sun projected onto a wall.

  • Surprisingly not a single cuddler from this site ever wanted a movie on when we cuddled yet. However, every client I have who isn't on this site almost always prefered to have a movie on. Weird...

  • @Amortentia I know couples or people who are really close tend to do that.

  • I never watched a movie while cuddling, until I found out that my favorite pro hadn't seen my favorite movie.

  • @JoyfulHeart I hope the pro liked the movie! What is your favorite movie?

  • @Amortentia She loved it, and a couple sessions later, we watched it again. It's The Princess Bride 🙂

  • Occasionally, some of my clients want to watch a TV show or film. But most of the time they prefer silence
