  • Happens on every site. Rarely will someone tell you they aren't interested, they just won't respond. Blocking is to ensure you wont contact them again.

All they had to do tell me in a nice way that they arent interested, im no stalker, im a nice guy but i hate getting blocked with out telling me why

  • [Deleted User]chococuddles (deleted user)

Did you really spell "too" wrong twice? ;)

As @Mike403 pointed out it happens on every site. There are a lot of people on here so just be polite and hopefully things will work out for you. Also it helps if you post an image, ideally yourself.

Best of luck. We all get ignored sometimes, just move on and have fun! :)

  • If it makes you feel any better, you can block them back.

  • [Deleted User]dld (deleted user)

I hope your not but are you making fun of my spelling @chococuddles

  • [Deleted User]dld (deleted user)

Well @Mike403 i know what i need to do, either way thanks for the advice, take care

  • Hey there! Looked at your profile and it seemed fine to me, sorry you didnt click with some people, just gotta remember that there are lots of users on here, i wouldnt let a few bad apples ruin your experience!
Best wishes and lots of positive energy your way!

OP's account has been deleted. It's too bad he didn't give it more of a try. What happened to him could have very well happened on any site where you interact with people. It would have been a dating site or even Facebook. Anyone else who has had a similar experience, don't let that scare you off. A friend used to always tell me that if you knock on enough doors, someone will eventually answer. Sometimes you just have to have thick skin.

Going to the store to get two cupcakes. Maybe some pop, too.

    I'll miss ya @dldude!

The reason most women won't respond to politely decline men is because often when they do they get harassed, verbally abused, or even threatened. So most women prefer to just ghost and not respond instead of risking their safety.

  • Truth is nobody really owes you a reason as to why they don't wish to speak with you on here. Hurt feelings or not, they are not responsible for how you interpret things. Plenty of people don't really respond to me on here, but the ones who have end up being really cool and I consider many to be friends, or at least as much so as the internet and long distance will allow. I did once have someone say they thought I seemed pretty cool but that she was looking for people more in her age range (she was a bit younger), which I though was a great thing for her to have done because it let me know where she was coming from without seeming disinterested. But again, she had no requirement nor expectation to do so. Just try to keep your ego in check, and try to not take it personally.

Agreed, no one on here owes anyone anything. It's just unfortunate how some people can't practice basic manners.

  • @PatatoHead. Dear Potato That is so true, a simple Thank you but no thank you and leave it at that. dose not hurt.

  • May be true assuming that the initial query is polite and worthy of response--but then your assumption would be wrong in most cases by my count.

  • Dear Some, That is a shame, why can people not be polite and friendly, are you willing to give an example so maybe others can learn. I know for me one liners are a put off it seem they can not be to interested in putting a sentence together.

  • Sure. Recently:

    --Are you free this evening?

--Are you available Tuesday night? Which area are you located

--Hello can we meet for a dinner tonight
(from a guy who's in a relationship and living 3 hrs away)

--Would you cuddle me? I'll do anything for comfort.

    --Hey there
I would like to book a session next week, please let me know your availability

One liners all,and that's with basically no profile. Any other women here have some illustrative examples?

  • That last one I'm guilty of sending.
.but it was to a pro. :)

  • @sometime. Dear Some Thank you for that I agree they are not happening corrispondance.
    Love and friendship John NZ

Pro or not I try to find something in their profile that resonates with me and talk about that. If their profile is bare bones I go with the image.

If it's a Pro I usually get around to mentioning a session around the 4th-6th email. Some probably hate it but if I'm going to be cuddling with this person I want to find some common ground so it's enjoyable for both of us.

  • If their profile is empty, and their picture is just of them and not doing some activity, how do you start a conversation based on that?

  • [Deleted User]chococuddles (deleted user)

Their smile. Facial features. Haircut. Hair color. Makeup color. Jewelry. Clothing. Pose. Anything stand out? Anything in the background? Are they within 10-20 miles of you? Mention a common landmark or eatery. Does their wardrobe or surroundings give any clues about her lifestyle or hobbies? Glasses? Braces? Face jewelry? I only do this if someone intrigues me. I don't just send out messages all willy-nilly.

Of course before I mail anyone I check to see if I fit in their age range and preferred gender.

If they haven't bothered to fill out the minimum requirement of multiple choice questions I don't send anything.

  • Dear Choco, Well put a very nice start, By the way who is on Second base.

  • @funandadventure I didn't include the one word HIs and HELLOs as being obvious non-starters

  • Some people are just socially awkward. I'm one of them. I find it very difficult to start a conversation with a new person. You don't have to respond, but please don't think of them all as creepy or weird.

  • Mike403, maybe this thread will be helpful to you?

  • [Deleted User]manticorp (deleted user)

@Mike403, I understand where you're coming from with being socially awkward, but one of the main advantages of an online community like this is you can take your time when writing messages to think over what you want to write. It gives opportunity to not have to make up something on the spot. If you can't think of something right off the bat to say to someone that will encourage conversation, it's ok to take a minute to just think about your opening message. People here might seem rude, but most have just been here for a while and feel it's in their best interestto just block profiles that either don't match their preferences or they are not interested in. I don't agree with blocking someone simply because you aren't interested, but if someone ignores the preferences on your profile and contacts you for a cuddle session anyhow, I don't think they'll be very good at respecting your boundaries further down the road.

  • [Deleted User]RScarf1 (deleted user)

I had women block me who I never contacted and who live in a different state. I assume it is because of posts I made on the forum. Oh well. It doesn't bother me. I just block them too.

  • [Deleted User]NJCuddleDevil (deleted user)

Maybe people aren't friendly because they lack companionship. Which do you think has to give first?

  • [Deleted User]NikiJay88 (deleted user)

I sometimes come as cold initially especially when they drag and drag and drag and aren't a serious inquiry or when they keep asking me to schedule them and they miss numerous times. So what I did was place on my profile specific rules. If you're a pro you are basically in charge of things like that.

  • [Deleted User]Mew (deleted user)

I've blocked people on dating sites who clearly didn't read my profile and just sometimes people would just keep messaging even though I'm not interested because either distance or just not interested. Without even responding, just blocked, so I don't get any messages.

It can feel like a diss but it's very possible the user just did it to prevent future messages because some people will keep messaging you even though after if you've not responded to say, the second, you aren't interested if you were active, and if not active it's not like 3+ messages will do anything better when they log in.
