Karma edits?

Can you edit karma? A booked session was completely ignored by a professional cuddler. I gave the cuddler 1 star in my karma and the pro lied in her karma response to say the session wasn't booked. I have the emails from Cuddle Comfort confirming the booking and reminding me of the booking. So this pro is blaming me for the error and it's not cool.

  • @Cuddle14NY - I'm sorry that happened to you. I don't know the answer to your question, but hopefully someone else does. I'm curious to know the answer, as well.

  • I don't know for sure, so don't quote me on this, but I don't think you can edit karma. I don't see anywhere to do this when I look at my karma.

Retaliatory low karma is a tough issue. I know some sites (Uber?) don’t show the other party’s rating until both parties’ ratings are entered to avoid this. Not sure what the right solution is here, but I’m sorry you’re going through it.

  • You can delete it and re add it

  • Feedback systems where both the buyer and seller can give feedback never work. The risk of retaliation prevents honest feedback. Why do you think 99% of feedback is five stars?

  • @Cuddle14NY Report the professional. Not for the no-show, as you rightly did that's a Karma matter. But untrue or retaliatory Karma is not permitted. The Moderators can see the messages that were exchanged.

  • I did report the “pro” cuddler. I don’t like being negative and the 1 star is what she deserved. Its the principle of the matter and her telling a lie that makes me mad. I’m not going to dwell on it. Thanks for your responses.
