What happens if the session ends early?

[Deleted User]love_raven (deleted user)

I’m asking, what happens if the session ends early because, I was charged the fee for the entire session. I don’t see anywhere to change the session ending before the time is up. Can someone help me out please?? I sent an email to CC but still no response. Thank you 🙂

  • @love_raven best solution don't go there again and get over it that's what I do. But did the person apologised for early session ending.

  • That is really between you and the cuddler. The pros are their own independent contractors. Have you asked for a refund? What was their reason for ending early?

  • I think you’ll probably have to talk to a moderator directly for this one.
Unless there is a way to put “session did not occur” still and send them a new request to accept for the correct amount of time? But that kinda seems like a hassle if it ended badly and you don’t keep in touch. I’m not sure.

I’m curious as to why they ended early. That might be too personal so no need to reply to that.
I don’t think you would get a response back within 24 hours the email is sent? I’m sorry for this Inconvenience you are experiencing. 😔

  • How early did the session end?

Was there an understanding as to when the session would start?

I met a pro recently at a public place and once we greeted each other, we had to find a spot. I started to wonder when the session actually started. Did it start when we greeted each other or did it start when we actually sat down and started.

    I didn’t ask, maybe I should have.

    @Morpheus

I think those are good questions to ask before finalizing a session.

In my profession as a musician, travel time and set up/tear down time are all things that I charge for, but those things are all well defined in my contract and riders.

In performing music the "standard" set up and tear down time for a solo musician is generally 30 minutes. If the venue/producer expects me to arrive 4 hours before the Set for rehearsals/sound check/meet and greet/etc then they pay me for that time.

Generally at half the rate I charge for the actual performance time.

And, my contract is very clear, that if any of that, or the show/encores extend beyond the agreed upon time I get paid for that time as well, at my full rate.

In my opinion, any professional that doesn't have those answers or is uncomfortable giving them to you is showing you a red flag. Or at least, showing their inexperience.

  • @CharlesThePoet I paid for an hour, she didn’t start the hour timer until around 15 minutes after we greeted each other. After the timer went off, we spent another 15 minutes together. It was a positive experience. I can however see how there could have been a lot of confusion.

  • The pros I have encountered who wished to meet publicly first always made it very clear that cuddling started when we start cuddling. The meeting is 99% of the time about them feeling safe. I had one cuddler that wanted to meet first because she said she wanted to see if she was attracted to me—she said she couldn’t cuddle someone that was repulsive to her. Long story short on her is she was one of the worst cuddlers I ever had and she lasted only a few weeks after that then vanished. But yes, I always ask when our time starts if I am meeting in public before the cuddle. Would you talk on the cell phone all day without knowing your cell phone plan’s allowance? Or drive a leased car indefinitely without knowing the mileage cap?

@Morpheus it depends on the level of customer service. there are pro don't like the job and clients only care about money and when the session end,bad customer service. The customer service I'm getting it's excellent my pro gives me exactly same time and never keep checking when session ends,i feel relaxed and comfortable. If she keeps checking the time and when session ends that makes me uncomfortable then I never come back again and I put bad feedback, especially if she gives me 10 minutes less if it's 1 time is fine but if she doesn't again it's bad for he/her.

@FunCartel it's her right to meet you to feel save but I wouldn't meet her because she's nervous, I wouldn't feel uncomfortable because I could be judged. I already mentioned in a different thread crimes don't happen first, second time it can even take a year to happen. sometimes the criminal looks sweet and cute and he could be dangerous some look criminals and they are innocents . Judging is very bad

  • @Ahmedali999 Huh? I never said anything about anyone being nervous. If you do not wish to meet her at her request at a Starbucks or soda shop or wherever then you already are a red flag. And criminals?? Now we are getting a bit extreme. I have cuddled well over a hundred people on here and well, you must have some bad luck. But then again, I never invite someone to my house the first or even second time. Give your response in context, how is meeting someone first a judgement?

  • @FunCartel my friend i listen to crime stories, crimes don't happen first, second time, some criminals take years to plan to commit crimes.so many serial killers look cute and sweat, friendly and the are very dangerous the person you trust could be dangerous . Meeting her is like a job interview i don't have time for her then wait for her decision to see me or not no way my friend. Example i never seen in my life a massage therapist meets me before gives me massage 🤣🤣 it just an example.

  • @Ahmedali999 i hear what you are saying, but that is not a good look at all. Pro cuddlers read these forums too. Some pros want to meet in public first and most enthusiasts too. Being dismissive of that is uncaring of another person, and, statistically speaking, you are more likely to be a serial killer than she is based on gender.

  • @FunCartel it's for her rights and safety to meet you but believe me that will never guarantee her safety. Judging people it's bad anyway cultures, colours and looks the pro i meet them they accept any colour, nationally, looks they never judge.

  • @funnycuddles they are people one of their problem in life look ugly and scary if she decided not to see them it will effect them.they want to feel they are welcomed. All my pro i meet them are illiterate and have basic knowledge of different cultures, nationalities and are very confident meeting strangers from different nations and cultures.

  • @Ahmedali999 Well of course judging when done with ill intent is undesirable and I made that perfectly clear in my first post that the one person who wanted to meet first not because of safety but because of looks was wrong. But she was the sole exception to the rule. But judging is also a survival trait that triggers fight or flight types of instinct. Judging a situation is far better than blind ignorance. Other than that one person I noted, everyone I have met who wants to meet first is for safety reasons and also in the case of enthusiasts—they want to see if there is some sort of compatibility and connection first.

  • @FunCartel some people are ok with it some are not and they are free to go and find a different pro.pro should accept all nations, cultures, and religions not to judge people for example I'm a Muslim I %100 will be judged.

  • @Ahmedali999 I give up. I never said and I have never known a pro who judged according to nationality, culture or religion. But to use your earlier logic, not meeting in public first doesn’t guarantee you won’t be judged privately. Human nature. You are judging people before even knowing them that they are even judging you for the reasons you specify. But you go right ahead with whatever logic you want if you are happy.

  • It's not a meeting set to cast a potential discriminatory judgment on the other. It's a judgment one comes to, based on using their best judgment, to determine compatability and [most importantly] their level safety felt and comfort with the other.

Yes ~ Fact is there are bad people out there. Meeting in public before a cuddle is one of many proactive tactics used to not be victimized by one.

  • I agree with that but it won't guarantee safety there are girls been victimized by their best friends. crimes don't happen from first time the pro I meet them they have certificate and basic knowledge of everything, culture, religions, nations and they are very confident meeting strangers also when my prayer time comes i pray in their house they have big respect for their clients many criminals look cute and they are dangerous

@Ahmedali999 , you’ve made it clear over and over in this and other threads that meeting someone doesn’t guarantee safety. We get it. You don’t need to keep hammering it in.

Still, we can determine some things about people. If I meet a guy in a public place and he’s pushy, what’s he going to be like in private? MOST people are not serial killers. I personally don’t choose to live my life acting as if they were. I take reasonable precautions, my instincts have worked well for me so far, I’m content with that.

If someone is unwilling to meet first in public, that’s their prerogative, just as it’s the other person’s prerogative to decide they are not going to cuddle with anyone until they meet them in a public place first.

This is getting off topic. The OP was about sessions ending early. Let’s get back to that.

It’s up to the pro to let the client know when the session begins and ends and to communicate that clearly. The client doesn’t necessarily know what questions to ask. This is part of setting clear professional boundaries. Same way with ending on time.

If someone has a problem with a pro not living up to their agreement they need to take it up with the pro. I don’t see where the OP has given us any information on what happened - how early did the session end? Why did it end early? Did the OP take this up with the pro at the time that it happened? How did the pro respond? We don’t know. Did the client show up late and the pro ended on time? Did the pro include non-cuddle time in the session? Was the session ended early because the client wasn’t behaving properly? Or was the pro ending early for their own personal reasons and expecting the client to just absorb that? We have no information at all.

  • Judging for judging is judging too, in my inexpert opinion.

Everyone here has their own story, and their reasons for feeling the need to utilize certain strategies to feel safe. If those strategies make a potential client feel uncomfortable, that client can choose not to pursue a cuddle relationship with them, and find someone else. The pro in question is likely to find enough business with clients who aren't bothered by their strategies.

In short, pro policies that bother one person may not bother another.

  • @Babichev at the end of the day it's down to the pro and the client to choose . I never had any issue with a pro cuddler.but i experienced some massage therapists told me they don't meet black people some they ask where are you from ? Back to the topic

  • @JoyfulHeart well said it's the pro choice to make her own policy. If she likes to loose clients it's her choice

  • 🙄 I previously received a warning to not engage directly with a certain person, so I'll instead return to the OP's question...

@love_raven ~ It may take time to get a reply about a refund, or even see one. Sorry though, an early end must be a bit disappointing (even without the question of money). Best of luck in the future to you... 🫂

  • @Ahmedali999 would you please stay on topic?

  • @Ahmedali999 I doubt that anyone LIKES losing clients. If I were to give them the benefit of the doubt, I'd suggest that they LIKE feeling safe, and are WILLING to lose a client if that's what it takes to feel safe.

Part of my point here is that I'm not in a position to judge anyone else for the way that they choose to run their business. I believe that none of us are.

  • I see that I was off too. I'm sorry.
