Thanks
The OP is a pro. She is saying that she was overcharged on the commission fee by CC because the session with her client ended earlier than expected and this the client paid less than the amount of the original proposal.
It is irrelevant why the session ended early. Sometimes there is incompatibility, but other time people have unexpected schedule changes. This is a relatively normal thing.
@love_raven, if it has been less than 48 hours, you can cancel the session by navigating to the message thread and selecting “session did not happen.” This will prevent CC from charging your card.
You don’t need to rebook a session with the client as @Brandi mentioned. Just go to your bookings page and select the “miscellaneous” tab. There is a place there to enter the amount that was actually paid for the session, and CC will take the correct commission fee.
@love_raven, if it has been more than 48 hours and your card was already charged, the best thing to do is to email CC, which you have already done. If you provide them with all the information, they wi refund the overcharge. Don’t forget that the site owners are in England, so sometimes it takes a while for them to get to messages from the US due to the time difference.
@BellaSera , thank you for that clarification. Did not realize the OP was a pro, thought that it was a client complaining a pro cut the session short and charged them for the entire time booked. Your advice is right on.
