Profile Feedback?

[Deleted User]teamcuddle84 (deleted user)

Hey Cuddle Comfort Community,
Im looking for some feedback on my profile or suggestions in general. I've literally reached out to ten cuddlers profession and non and I'm not receiving responses. Im not sure if it's my profile or just bad luck. Any feedback back you provide is appreciated.

  • @teamcuddle84 I see nothing wrong with your profile. While it can never hurt to fill in a little about yourself as a person beyond your interest in cuddling (hobbies, personality, whatever) to paint a fuller picture of yourself, this is not essential. Based on my time here, and my reading of the forums, I would say the following:

    1. It is not at all uncommon to get no response from non pros. They get deluged with requests, and most opt to just ignore the ones that don't interest them. This has been discussed in many threads here.
    2. Pros ought to respond one way or the other. Not to respond just seems unprofessional. make sure the ones you are sending to are logging on regularly. Some people sign up, get the pro tag, and then never come back to check for messages. I don't know why they would do this, but some do. If the pro you message hasn't been online in two months, odds are good you won't hear from them in timely fashion. Go for the ones who sign on at least weekly.
    3. I also suggest participating in these forums. Let your voice be heard (and your personality displayed) on a variety of topics. You'll start getting Friend requests from people who like your posts. Having some Friends makes your profile look better.
    4. Concentrate on getting booked with a pro or two at first. It's easier to do than meeting a non pro, and hopefully you'll get a couple of good karma ratings out of it. The combination of friends and karma should make all future bookings with pros a piece of cake.

So there you have it. Nothing wrong with your profile. It just takes a little time and patience to get traction. Hope this helps.

Hello Teamcuddle, and welcome to the site.

Like Quiteman said, not getting replies from people can be pretty standard. Professionals come to this site usually as a side shuffle, like Uber, so they come and go at the time that is convenient for them. Be patient, and you'll likely get some replies from people the next time they are on.

When I look at your profile, I do see things that women might be concerned with. This site is meant for platonic cuddling, so no romance, no dating, and no sex. Professionals will stop seeing you if you are showing signs that you are becoming romantic in these ways. On your profile, I'm seeing "Love Language" scores, which these are meant to be a rating of how you express and experience love. This site, is not about love. I would recommend scraping those entirely.

Second, you state that you have been single for a few months. Meaning that you just got a breakup, meaning that some women may very well correlate you wanting to cuddle is a rebound effect. In general, women don't like feeling like a rebound woman. Breakups also are a pretty negative thing. To attract more people to you, keep the profile positive.

Remember, the enjoyment of cuddling is reciprocal. So, include some reasons why you are awesome to cuddle with, and why your cuddle buddy will benefit from cuddling with you, along with your reason why you benefit from cuddling with them. It could be the music you play, the movies you watch, the food you cook, your sense of humor, or just being a great person to relax and fall asleep with.

I know I am being critical in this post, but, I am wanting you to find a regular cuddle buddy.

  • Dear All very good comments, well done. to all new friends, think about what you have put on your profile and the photos, they need to be fun and show some of your personality. As said above this is not a dating website in any way shape or form.
Have fun and please play safe. Love John and his trees, Auckland NZ.

  • @sudoCuddle I strongly disagree with you that this site is not about love. It is very much about platonic love. The word 'platonic' itself means love that is on a higher plane than the physical, meaning that there is no sex involved.

Vast majority won't respond no matter what you do

  • Truth is... if you approach the girl, you lost already. Unless you are gorgeous or someone they find attractive, most of the time they won't reply. You just kinda have to deal with that yourself. As in, don't take it personal. We are all under the illusion that if we just wait a bit more, we'll find that perfect person who just "happens" to be more attractive, or wealthy or whatevs. Don't lie, we all do that. x)

The way i do it is like Rick Sanchez would say: I don't give a fuck.

Keep sending messages, and maybe you'll find those couple of people who think you are good enough... even if it is just to cuddle. :)

  • If somebody doesn't want to talk to you, that doesn't mean there's something wrong with you. It means just they are not interested. Somebody else may feel totally different. For example, one girl might be repelled if you have a beard, while another one might find that attractive. Everyone has different criteria. You just have to keep trying. Leave no stone unturned.

  • "Truth is... if you approach the girl, you lost already." False. It may be your truth, but it is not a universal truth.

I responded to five messages from men the first afternoon after I posted my profile. They were all nice messages, polite and friendly. By the next day, I had made arrangements to meet two of them. Because they were nice, polite and friendly. They were not pushy.

"Unless you are gorgeous or someone they find attractive, most of the time they won't reply." False again. You may be telling yourself these things in order to make yourself feel better, which is fine. This no doubt happens some of the time, but you have no way of measuring whether it happens most of the time. The two men I arranged to meet were neither gorgeous nor was I attracted to them. They were nice, polite and friendly. One had a photo which projected niceness. One had no photo, but he had two glowing reviews. He sent me a photo several messages later. In my message exchanges with both of them, they made me feel that they were safe to be with. I will agree that Mike403 has a point. There may be something about the appearance that is off putting. I find grim photographs of men who do not smile very off putting. Still, the implication that most women are shallow and decide whether to reply based solely on appearance cannot be proven. Women, unlike men, are generally far more forgiving of appearance.

There is a myriad of reasons why a woman might not reply. A one or two-word greeting may not be enough for her. Someone may be projecting aggressiveness, pushiness, awkwardness or something else that may be a red flag to her. Someone may open with "hi, you look cute" then ask if she is a good kisser. That happened to me over a period of several messages. Someone may push for cuddling before exchanging enough messages and getting to know her first. Thus, there may be something in the approach that puts her off.

While we're on the subject of appearance, I can give the men some hints. Take more care with your profile photos. Smile. Make sure the lighting is good and your face is visible. Do not post blurry photos. Smile. Take a photo soon after a haircut. Have your facial hair neatly trimmed. Wear something nice. Do not wear baseball caps. And smile!

Lastly, take a look at your onscreen name. Some of them I've seen on this site are very aggressive sounding. I would not be interested in going anywhere near anyone who was so obtuse that he thought an aggressive screen name would attract a woman to want to cuddle with him.
