@blisscuddles - loved the post. every day should be taco tuesday... tacos just make me happy. 😛

"Life would be well rounded if it weren't for those dreaded tacos!!!" - Mission Tortillas
I know that doesn't really rate in the quote of the day category but damn I want a taco now.

@JesseColeman Great choice! I love Mignon McLaughlin and her abundant aphorisms. One of the ones she wrote applies to some of the forum threads started by men who feel entitled to every woman’s time:
“ Men who don't like girls with brains don't like girls”
“The greatest fear in the world is the opinion of others, and the moment you are unafraid of the crowd, you are no longer a sheep, you become a lion. A great roar arises in your heart, the roar of freedom.” ― Osho

Ok a serious one on reading
One reads books in order to gain the privilege of living more than one life. People who don't read are trapped in a mine shaft, even if they think the sun is shining. -Garrison Keillor
@UKGuy Love all your quotes. Especially about truth tellers. This has been my lot in life. I have never been popular because I speak the truth always, and have the moral courage to stand against the group when the group is wrong, even if the group is my friends, colleagues, “experts,” and authorities. Social psychology shows us people do not tolerate those who refuse to cooperate with the groupthink crew and they will be ostracized to pressure compliance. I’ve accepted this as my constant reality for refusing to be a dead fish floating downstream with the spineless creatures nearby.
@CharlesThePoet A very prescient post.
