Tuesday morning.
Me, as I'm stepping onto our front porch, tripping and falling, and smacking my head on the wall on my way down: !!!@#$%^&(blue streak)&^%$#@!!!!!
I hear the sound of tiny feet behind me.
"Sir, are you okay?"
Two little girls on their way to school.
Me: Yeah I think so.
Girl #1: We saw and heard you go down.
Me: Sorry for the cussin'.
Girl #2, taking my cap off and feeling my head: It's okay. You've got a little bump, no blood.
Girl#1: And some rub burns on your knees. Good you were wearing pants and not shorts.
Girl #1 takes three Neosporin Band Aids out of her backpack.
Girl #2: We're Girl Scouts. We live for this stuff.
Band Aids are applied to the three scruffs.
Me: Thanks for looking after me.
Girl#2: Isn't that what we're supposed to do? You're welcome.
