Would you travel from state to state for a session? If no, how come, if yes explain why! Personally, I would if it made sense. like for example, if I was to spend an entire day with the person or a couple sessions while I'm there.
I would definitely travel for sessions! It's a win-win situation, a vacation and cuddling with a new potential friend!
I don't see why not, but I personally probably wouldn't do it for a first session unless it made sense. It would also probably depend on how far. If you live in SoCal and want to travel to say, Portland, that's a bit of a haul. Maybe if I flew?
Edit: Thought about it a bit more. I might, even for a first session, if it made sense and the cuddler and I got along well beforehand.
Hmm good point that makes sense.
I would! As long as we had a really good connection, had plans that included extended &/or multiple cuddles, and there was a balance in our efforts (if I drive or fly, I think they should help cover food &/or accommodations). For all that ~ I'd be down!
But I'm really into road trips, visiting different places, interacting with locals, taking in the whole experience and most of all hugging on people I care about. So for me it's really a no-brainer that just comes down to time & money for both involved.
However, if it was just for a true one-off with someone I felt like I barely knew ~ I'd pass.
I travel out of state for sessions quite often. If the drive is an hour or over, the session has to be at least 3 hours to make it worth the trip. I think that it's fun to get out of town for a cuddle adventure every so often. I have met so many wonderful people due to getting out of my cuddle bubble.
I'd probably want to plan other things to also do in that place, so that if the cuddle was cancelled late on, or it otherwise didn't work out, it wouldn't be so bad. I find that the emotional investment in any meeting is so high ; that the tangible "cost" in time, money and effort, is relatively unimportant.
I have taken visa and travelled different times, for a few days minimum, obviously!
I would!!!!!
I have. Being in Alabama there just aren't a ton of folks from here who I would care to meet and I am surrounded by other states that are not a long distance to drive to . Every so often I'll come to them , meet halfway , or they will come here . lot of my favorite cuddle pals are out of town lol so if I weren't willing to travel a little I wouldn't see them . Often I'll incorporate it into other plans so it's not always the soul purpose of my trip though sometimes it is . Of course I know it is all relative to what you consider a long drive . If you plan to meet at a halfway point it is easier and can make a.mini vacation out of it . For example, a friend in St. Louis and I were brainstorming how to see each other and we both had a few days off but didn't want to do such a long drive . So we decided we both wanted to see Nashville which was a reasonable distance for us both to drive and made a weekend of it .
I can't really travel much for medical reasons, which is why I only look for/looked for people reasonably close by to travel to or have over for cuddles. If that wasn't a factor I really don't know if I'd travel for more than an hour, anxiety would be a major issue for long journeys as well.
I have and would! I’ve met some super cool people who have turned into friends this way I usually require at least a 3 hour session if the travel is a longer distance; but it’s been great so far.
My kind of forum topic!!! Yes. I have traveled within my states and to many other states, to cuddle before. Cuddles and vacation combination are awesome! As a result, I have seen many new places, friends, fun site seeing, food and experiencing unique cultures.
I went on a summer Tour one year to see how cuddling was in each area Ultimately the whole three month trip ended up being like $200 in the black in the end, but I got a lot of experiences that helped me shape who I am and how I operate today
In fact, I still have a client I still worked with out in NJ and a few in PA just before the pandemic that came from those travels. The longest session I've ever done was a 25 hour cuddle (maybe 4 of those hours we didn't actually cuddle).
ive traveled to cuddle, there is nothing better, its a mini-vacation, a different 4 walls, when its already incorporated in my travels, even better, i met soo many amazing people in the travels, i would have never met them in any other way, sort of makes the world a little smaller. its a testament to the cuddling community, we are all in this together with open arms
@SnugglewithSam glad to have met you in the starbucks in Queens during your meet-up hours when you passed through NY lol, and due to that meeting , cuddled with you the following week when our plans synced.
@happybear it was a fateful cuddle for sure. I enjoyed that a lot and was super happy to have met you! 🤗
@MagicalCuddles4 I have travelled quite a bit especially state to state. Like someone mentioned above , there is an amazing community of people on here.
I've been in over 30 states now to cuddle
I travel for work, so my options are kind of limited while I'm on the road. I have a favorite buddy at home. I flew her out here for 3 days so we could get some good cuddle time. We did other things as well, but we had a ton of quality cuddle time in there.
I'm not currently in a position to travel myself, but happy for people to travel to me generally. That said, I am more careful with the COVID situation, as there are a lot more cases in other parts of Australia.
Nope to going out of state. I will drive anywhere not two hours more. Figure if I will go that far for ice cream, beach, or a festival then I can for a cuddle 👍🏽
Prior to Covid, traveling was part of my job. Some of the best cuddle experiences I've had have been out of state, some 2500+ miles from home (looking at you, Florida and @safensecure4u2 and @FishCuddles), and the states and awesome cuddlers in-between.
@happybear sums it up nicely.
Yes! I love to have new friends in new places to visit. Love this forum topic as well since it can be skeptical sometimes within the inbox... recently traveled to AZ and met up with @DonLonG. Although our session went by so fast, I feel that I have a great new connection for the next time I need some sunshine and friend. I did not go there for cuddles per say, but would in the future. 🙂
I have and do travel to do cuddles. I have met some truly wonderful people outside of my state and general cuddle area. I hope to continue doing this. @Sideon and @Fishcuddles, thank you for the opportunity to meet and cuddle with you. I look forward to the opportunity to do it again. My travel area is Northern Virginia to Florida
I would probably not travel more than a couple of hours unless I have other business in the area. However, I'm happy to host people willing to travel to me. I'm about 20 minutes from Sea World and Disney so I suspect most of my visitors just come for the parks! LOL. I have no issues sharing costs of travel and treating my guests to meals, etc., but not sure I'd be willing to pay for the extent of cuddle sessions a pro would probably expect to make the trip worth it from a business perspective.....unless they call it a vacation.
Yes! I definitely would travel! Theres not very many cuddlers in my area. So i have and am willing to travel. Anything that requires me to travel an hour or two out has to be atleast a couple hours in it for the both of us! Time seems to pass by rather fast so having ample time for connecting and cuddling helps us both. I usually dont treat it as a vacation because my purpose of being in the area is for my cuddlers accomodations or request. I enjoy sight seeing traveling and connecting with likeminded ppl so for me its not too much of a big deal to travel!🤘☺
I travel every other week out of state to cuddle. I get to meet new people, cuddle & get in a little vacation time. I plan to go abroad once the travel bans lifts.
Thank you @Sideon and @safensecure4u2 Happy that we got to meet and share cuddles despite living in different states!!! 🤗 Being willing to travel sometimes has definitely expanded our cuddling opportunities!!!
I just had my first cuddle adventure in a brand new (to me) state and it was nice! She showed me around a little bit and took me to get lunch in places that don’t exist in Florida! I wanna do more cuddling and traveling. I’m thankful we have the means to connect like this with each other! 🤗
@ILikeWarmHugs I am happy that you had a wonderful recent traveling experience!🤗
