Cuddling & Hanging Out

So, question?!
When cuddling with your intended cuddle partner, do you meet up and go straight to cuddling? Or do you cuddle and spend time doing activities with your cuddle partner?

  • When I met someone on here for the first time, we just dined out. It's pretty much up to you and your partner as to what you do.
  • For me, I would get to know the person first, meet and hang out.  If we both like each other then can make a decision on cuddling.

When I got to know my first cuddle buddy, we met for dinner in a public place, then arranged a second get-together at her place to cuddle and watch a movie a few days later. With my second cuddle buddy, I met up for dinner and then had her over to my place straight away, which turned out to be a mistake - as I missed a few red flags and things didn't work out in the long run.

As for my third cuddle buddy, I talked to him on the phone, then met him in person to have dinner together (I just got some cheap takeaway and we ate it together in a park near my place so nothing fancy). He also came to a group activity I attend regularly, which gave me a chance to see him in a public setting. We arranged a separate time to meet up and cuddle, and by then I felt pretty safe and comfortable with him.

Once I get to know someone well as a cuddle buddy, I find that the activities we do together vary a lot and depend on both of our moods. Sometimes we jump straight to cuddling, but other times we just chat first or do other activities.
  • Thats so cool, @sunflowerfield :) maybe i feel like going straight to cuddling is a little too impersonal to me. I feel like i should at least have some common ground with the person that becomes my cuddle partner.
I wouldnt mind like playing basketball, having dinner, or going on a walk with the person.

I guess my question would be can you mix cuddling and friendship? Or are those two things that should stay seperate?
  • @lovelyday43, cuddling and friendship are a fantastic mixture.  What a weird idea to keep them separate!  But do communicate desires, boundaries and needs along the way (both positive and negative of each)!

  • Friendship/Connection is a must in my book.  I would not feel comfortable cuddling a complete stranger.  After all, cuddling is very intimate and personal.
  • I prefer to just go straight to cuddling, but I certainly understand wanting to meet beforehand for safety reasons.  I feel like I would have to impress my prospective cuddle buddy if meeting first.  Plus I do really bad in social situations, even just going out to eat makes me uncomfortable.  I can't really make a emotional/friendship connection with someone unless I have a physical connection with that person.  Which I would like to develop a closer friendship with my cuddler, but from what I've read on here it's not a good idea for pros and clients to get too close.
  • @psilocuddle, do you think you would have a different point of view if you were an attractive woman?
  • @angela10  maybe?  I don't think my feelings on this necessarily have anything to do with looks or gender.  I suppose an attractive woman might have more social confidence.
  • @psilocuddle, good luck with your search for a cuddle buddy.  From what I've read, a lot of men here had to seek pro cuddlers.  Women in general just don't feel safe to meet and go straight to cuddling with a complete stranger hence the demand for female pro cuddlers.
  • If it's a pro then usually straight to cuddling.
Unlike casual mutual cuddling you have no time to spend beyond the agreed upon hour or two.

I had a hybrid session once
Her rate lower than what CC even allows plus a free hour just to hang out. That was neat. One day ill schedule her for a real session.

When I cuddle with pros, we generally go straight to it. I've hung out with pros outside of sessions but we usually do something like lunch after the session.

For me I prefer to establish a connection first or at least a get to know you meet up. Usually coffee or a meal. Discuss ourselves, discuss cuddle expectations and guidelines. Go from there. Seems to work best.
Finding a cuddle partner that can also be a friend you can talk to on a regular basis is the best. However in my experience so far it's rare.
  • I have only snuggled up with people who I already knew, meeting random people solely for that purpose would be odd to me if I didn't already know a bit about them and know I have a connection with them, whatever the connection might be. I have only seen one pro and we spent a good hr or so just talking at her house beforehand, and before that we had spent a couple of weeks texting and talking until our schedules aligned.

I generally develop a connection within like 1.5 seconds of meeting someone lol
  • @Morpheus. Dear Morpheus, you and I must be made of the same stuff, I have never tested the time but it is quick. I find there is an age range which is very resistance to connection but will connect at a point in time, That is age 9 to 15years and I note even for the female staff this range is about the same.
As for older people caution but will connect very easily.
Love you all, John and his trees. Auckland NZ.

As a professional cuddler, after my welcome hug, I'll take about 10 minutes to talk to the client first, which is off the clock. Mostly this is just to ease their nervousness, and we talk about anything from how their day has been to how the session will go.

Personally, I think it would be a bit abrupt to say Hello then go right to the cuddling, unless you're familiar with the other person.
