I always thought I was more of a dog person, but I met the cutest little kitten and I’m considering adopting her. She just loved hanging out in my lap
I like both, but find cats are easier to take care of. I got a cat for my daughter 8 years ago and then we adopted two kittens in 2020.
In my experience, dogs are more cuddly but also more demanding/high maintenance.
One big exception is my current kitty, who wants to be under the covers and get cuddles every 1.45 hours....
@ernesto_2 so cute. I’m hoping this one remains a cuddle bug!
I've had and love both. Dogs are typically more socially tuned into you and physically affection, but they are much higher maintenance. Even though it took 4 years for her to really get snuggly with me, I loved having my SPCA cat for 8 years. My current dog was a pandemic foster fail. It looks like you have a snuggly kitty on your hands that could use a good home. I'd say go for it!
Neither lol I have a bunny. I do not hear her beside her chewing. She eats the same things as me. I do not have to walk her. I do not worry that she will jump on the kitchen counter while I am cooking. She is a prey animal so she is not climbing all over me and my furniture. Her poop is not wet or big.
I love both but I prefer cats. Even though I grew up in a home where my mom bred dogs for a living and I was constantly surrounded by at least 10 puppies, I just connect better with kitties 💖💖 I have three beautiful boys and those kitties keep me entertained lol and I get bountiful cuddles from them.
Both. Or rather, either.
I have two smaller dogs currently. Have had both cats and dogs all my life. I always tell people about dogs is “ big dogs = big problems. Small dogs = small problems “ 🤣
I’ve had cats and I like when they are kittens. Kittens are hilarious! I just never had a good cat as a pet. Maybe they knew I liked dogs better lol. I had one destroy my waterbed back in 80s by clawing holes in it. That was a mess!
Dogs.
65% cat person, 35% dog person.
Grew up with cats while terrified of dogs, eventually became okay with dogs (so long as they aren't too big) but have gone a while without being able to spend much time with any cats. See a dog belonging to some family pretty often though and they always get belly rubs.
Both
I love both but only own cats. Cats are like humans in that they require compromise and something in it for them 😊 Great for teaching children to mind boundaries and get animals "consent"
My girl with her head on my chest. No living thing will ever compare ❤️
@Morpheus your dog looks so much like mine! And I love that collar she has on! Mine is the sweetest but she won't put my head on my chest, she likes and frequently comes over for cuddles but likes her space and prefers to keep her distance.
Bunnies.
Love this post and everyone’s sweet pets ! Here are mine! Max, Oreo, and Buttercup ❤️
@Nature_Lover_ Oh my goodness! So precious!
Here's my man cuddled up on the heating pad he's claimed as his own
@CuddlesByDeep I thought that as soon as I saw the pics you posted before I had read what you said.
My cat is a pain in the ass, I wish I had a dog.
Dogs requite too much attention for me. Cats all day.

I had a pet amoeba but he split.
