Am keen to learn what types of hugs, cuddles and embraces people like to give/receive....

Cuddle Positions: 1. Mutual: The honeymoon hug with noses/foreheads together 2. Giving: Me in Papa Bear, hugging with alternating dominant arms/hands. 3. Receiving: Me being small spoon.
Hugs: 1. Mutual: My arms around waist, their arms around neck, foreheads together 2. Giving; Receiving by men: Bear hug (arms around arms, pinning into hug) 3. Receiving: arms around waist, head on chest
Sitting side-by-side with arms linked. It leaves hands free for snacking or holding a controller.

Depends if someone I suspect has feelings for me or I have feelings for and can't do anything about, then I'm likely to prefer the bro hug, especially if the former. If someone I'm not comfortable with, then I prefer none.
Other than that I'm not experienced enough to know my favorite yet. Though under the right circumstances, I like it to last longer than those few second "I wanna hug you but not really" hugs. Which just makes* me feel like "ugh I didn't just extend my arms for this". 😅
The best embrace I’ve ever had was basically a really tight hug while laying down! We were both just tightly holding each other! But that was with my ex, so I don’t know if that would be crossing the platonic line or not to do it with someone else!
Any kind as long as I feel safe and comfortable and permission was asked of me first.
My favorite kind of hug is the slow, long "best friend" embrace

I love to be in the Papa Bear position, lying on my back and having someone lean their head on my chest while I cradle their head with one hand while holding their side or back with the other. I like spooning (probably the most iconic and traditional cuddle position) as big spoon (preferred) or little spoon. I like resting against someone in the baby bear position with the other person in the papa/mama bear position (lying on their back, legs spread to allow "baby bear" to lie on their back on papa/mama bear's belly) and their arms draped over my chest and belly; I'm happy to be the papa bear in this position as well. I like the half-spoon, too, and I also like the sweetheart hug (similar to the image @Ahmedali999 posted with or without one person's legs over the other's). I also like yab-yum (see photos of me with cuddle partner @cuddleyogistaci in this discussion reply).
Really, there are so many positions I like. I'm very versatile.
