My mom and dad live in Texas. Fortunately the damage that was done to their property was minor compared to most people.
My work sent me to Houston in Late 2015 after the hurricane that year to help restore communications. There's a good chance we'll go again this year.
It's been nutts but I won't stop rescuing until I get everyone to dry land.

I took a load of canned goods, bottled water and blankets to my local donation center yesterday and encourage others to do the same. Many local firehouses or city halls have donation centers set up for goods that will be taken by the local service members when they attend disaster areas.
