Cuddles Versus Money.

[Deleted User]cuddlesandsmile (deleted user)

I see many people say they believe in the healing power of touch and that they like hugs and cuddles. Howeve i noticed here many people are after money rather than giving any Hugs and cuddles.
I am not sure it is jus the feeling this way or it has really become very commercialised

Any Comments are welcome

If I didn't charge I'd be too busy working a full time job to have any availability or energy to cuddle.
We can enjoy cuddling AND charge for our time.

    Edit
You're a pro. Seems a bit hypocritical to say pros are after just money when you have rates yourself.

☝️They are 2 types of pros, some they give a lot efforts and love into their profession. others just for money and charge alot, service is bad. I think.🤔
They have to charge to host you in a comfortable environment, clean sheets, towels, shower, get ready, pay their bills, supplies for energy (food)drinks. They need to fund themselves to give you happiness, love, care, ect it's not joke it's a lot responsibly to give excellent service. sometimes they could face bad days such as unhappy customers, they do thier best.
Cuddles, caring it's really important in life even mentioned in some religions compassion, affection. It really helped me from dead to life. Change my mind completely with 0 sucide thoughts.

  • People have a rough past, Child hood trauma.
Lot of them have the mentality because of what went through they want to help others... and they become Psychologist/therapist. What im saying is the charged.

Or lets say the ones that are actually good at it
( in this case pro cuddlers) they good at it why not charge.

It seems unfair to imply that because someone charges for it, they don't care about cuddling. I charge for my writing, that doesn't mean I care less about it than someone who does it for free. If you can be paid to do something you enjoy doing, why not charge for it? You always have the option of sticking to enthusiasts if you don't want to deal with pros.

  • @Chris04 well said 👌 they need food drink to have energy 💪 example otherwise how can they cuddle you without having energy

I’m curious as to why you’re a pro/ charge if you have this sentiment @cuddlesandsmile

  • Yea seems very hypocritical to criticize or belittle pro cuddling and pro cuddlers, when you’re one of us as well. I’m gonna need you to explain that one 🤔 do or don’t, you are allowed your opinions, but try not to sound so negative nelly on a topic like this (especially if you’re lumped into this too )

Just to hopefully clarify what you mean @cuddlesandsmile did you mean you have an issue with professional cuddlers as a whole or do you specifically mean that you have an issue with professional cuddlers who are primarily/solely after money from professional cuddling rather than ones who are seeking to help people with cuddles and get paid for it? (or another option/meaning.

However I noticed here many people are after money rather than giving any Hugs and cuddles. I am not sure it is jus the feeling this way or it has really become very commercialised

At first glance is looks like you have an issue with professional cuddlers in general but it's also pretty open to interpretation especially with the "rather than" part. Would definitely be a bit odd for a professional to be saying the former rather than latter but stranger things have happened.

@cuddlesandsmile is you trolling or what? You're here as a pro charging than* what's the point of your post exactly??

  • If you're a pro, why do you have an issue with people charging? My massage therapist charges me (I get massages as part of my "self care"). Does this mean my massage therapist doesn't care about her clients? I can tell by the way that she treats people, that she cares about them - even though she gets paid. You can still care about the people that you come in contact with, while being paid for a job. I care about the people that I cuddle, and I realize the importance of touch.

  • "Howeve i noticed here many people are after money rather than giving any Hugs and cuddles."

How did you come to that conclusion.. booked most of the pros here or?

"Rather than giving hugs or cuddles" so you found that many of the pros here just show up, take the money and leave? Or what do you mean exactly...

@Lovelight - if pros just show up, take the money and leave, I guess I've been doing it wrong. I actually cuddle before leaving...🤷‍♀️

  • I just joined the site and found this thread to be interesting. I haven't been with the site long enough to fairly comment to this yet.

However, my initial reaction was disappointment to see the "paid' (pro) option. It sort of makes me wonder why everyone wouldn't want to get paid for doing something that they enjoy doing....? At any rate, I was a bit disappointed in seeing all of the 'pro' cuddlers. I expected the site to be more of a happy/share the love community of people, maybe the term is cuddle enthusiasts.

  • No pro on here is charging a penny more than what someone else is willing to pay for their services. Some pros are perfectly happy charging a high rate and only serving the segment of the population which is willing to pay that - and there is nothing wrong with that. I myself set a price filter to decide the price I'm comfortable paying, and choose from those options. If I don't like the choices, I can either decide to raise the price I'm willing to pay, or choose to drive some distance to find a better match. There are lots of pros who decide it's not worth their while unless they get paid a certain amount, and okay when that may mean they will see very few bookings. Nothing wrong with that. So far I haven't found that the service I received pros charging $80 is any worse than those charging $200 or more - if anything, my experience is that those pros charging in the lower ranges have decided to make this a full time occupation, and set a price which allows them to book enough hours to keep a full schedule.

  • I think he is referring to those on here that don't take this profession seriously and give half hearted service whose only goal is to make a quick buck. I have had a few of those.

  • 1) This post belongs in Professional Cuddling
    2) We do not allow bashing of pro cuddlers. Since the OP is a pro themselves, the post makes no sense unless they think they have special knowledge of others’ motivation
    3) Looks like trolling, this discussion is closed.
