Tentacle hugs?

So I decided I want to confess this because I've never told anyone about it before because I thought they'd think it's weird because it's normally a sexual thing, but for me since I'm ace it's totally not. The thing is, I commonly fantasize about tentacle cuddles. Like I just feel like it would be so nice to be wrapped up and in a bunch of tentacles. Please tell me that I am not the only one who likes this.

    I’ve never thought about it, but if I could get past what I imagine would be the weird feeling of suction cups, I think I could dig being cuddled by an octopus who is smart enough to know how I need to be held and kind enough not to strangle me (no evil octopuses allowed 🚫👿🐙).

    If you haven't watched the documentary "my octopus teacher" you should. You are in luck because octopuses are intelligent, sentient, playful, self-aware creatures who do in-fact enjoy cuddling human beings.

    Oh, I know, @MCcuddles2 . I've seen documentaries about octopuses. I was half-kidding about "no evil octopuses," but the half-serious part was my (perhaps) cynical belief that intelligence and kindness do not always go hand-in-hand, so if there were an octopus as intelligent as typical octopuses, but for some reason malicious, there might be a problem with strangulation. 😉

    The problem with cuddling with an octopus is that they generally aren't big enough to really envelop you. What's really needed is one of those giant squids.

    But giant squids have nasty claws on their suckers, so maybe not those either. Giant pacific octopuses, as the name implies, are pretty big and probably big enough to wrap their arms around you. To answer the question though, I for one prefer soft and warm cuddles so I’m gonna stick with my mammalian friends.
