It's snowing moneyyy

Just kidding, it's snowing snow of course. I used to hate it, because of the difficulties it presents me with. Though now that I was able to plan ahead and lessen those difficulties, I found myself enjoying watching it. And I look forward to someday trying winter sports which might give me a bit more appreciation for it. https://www.almanac.com/beauty-and-benefits-snow-garden

I kinda still prefer a warmer place though. 😅

I went to school in Denver. When the snow was big flakes and it was the middle of the night, you could hear the snow hitting the ground becuase the rest of the noise was dampened out. I hae the sound of walking on it though. Nails on a chalkboard for me.

I wish we got more snow here in St. Louis. I’ve gotten to do a little cross country skiing and loved it. It’s a great way to be outside in the snow. Unfortunately, we rarely get enough snow to do it and when we do, most of the time you’d better be out there early because it’s melted by about 2 p.m.

I love snow. I love how it looks, I love how it makes the world so quiet. I had two Saudi roommates and got to take them out to the park in the snow one night. They’d experienced snow but had never experienced playing in the snow. It was delightful.

By the way, when I saw the title I thought perhaps it had to do with this incident a week ago where money got spilled all over the highway.

@Lovelight by the title I thought you were a plow truck driver.

I liked the snow when I was a kid, but now having to work in it, drive in it, and deal with other people who absolutely lose their mind when the weather is anything but bright sunny and dry I've come to dread it.

  • I used to love snow. I would ski almost every week end, and I taught skiing for a few years. Now, with two artificial hip joints and knees that aren't in the greatest shape, my skiing days are behind me. Besides, I have 225' of driveway to clear. I hate snow.

  • It’s snowed once in Denver this year and it wasn’t much. It’s record breaking. Almost December.

@stormydaycuddle My first day in Denver was 1997 when a record blizzard came through on my birthday.

Just about 99.9 people that I know prefer cold weather. I love the warm weather. I love the heat and the summer. If it was sunny clear sky and 90 degrees every day that be paradise for me.

@Chris04 You live in LA my man, Summer all year.

  • @Morpheus
Yea true that. I dont like cloudy days. And lately in the past few years in winter maybe no rain but it does get cloudy. Im not saying it in a bad way but in California remember the 7 year drought.
Got to say I missed those days. Even during the winter thy were clear skies.
O yea I suffer a lot from depression. Short days or gloomy weather makes me depressed.

  • I love summer and I would be in the water every single day if it were sunny, but I do like the snow a little. At least, when it's brand new. After cars drive around and it becomes a dirty crust on the road, I'm no longer impressed.
