Skeptical about certain popular pro cuddler profiles

I don't wanna ruin the experience for anyone, but I had a professional cuddler reach out to me and said that she will be in my area. We scheduled a cuddling session, then she gave me her number. But she then sent me an address that is far beyond my region, which was odd to me, so I cancelled the booking and blocked the profile just for safety measures.

Is it possible that some professional profiles that are filled with hundreds of positive karmas are fake? Because I got suspicious when the person sent me an address far away to meet up, although they claimed that they'll be in my area. Their profile is also well developed, so it's hard to tell whether they're legit or not.

    I guess my first question is just how far away are we talking? As a person who travels, I know sometimes I may think I'm much closer to a place than I actually am, especially if I'm unfamiliar with the area. Is it possible this pro is just unfamiliar with your area?

    It may have just been a misunderstanding. Chances of someone having that many good reviews and being fake are unlikely.

    How many professional profiles do we have here that have hundreds of positive karmas? I think some miscommunication occurred , but you can always report to mods. I don't think we have that many professionals here that fit that description 🤨

    I’ve only seen one, maybe two pros that have over a hundred and that’s not something you can fake. Definitely not that many. So I would wager you two just had a miscommunication on something.
    Did you at least talk with her about it before blocking??

    That is odd, I'm sure there is a misunderstanding indeed! With that combo, no, the chances of faking is quite low, I'd message them to clarify or just move on. ☺️

    I know I pay a start-up bot farm in Angola to do my karma. They even visit my profile several times every day so I get an adrenaline kick to the ego. It is how I control the narrative if I had one to begin with.

    I'll never forget how paranoid I was at the thought of my first cuddle. All of CC looked like a minefield and it took a while for me to believe what I was looking at. Now I consider myself a veteran of sorts and still, my last cuddle took two one-hour meetings for me even though she was ready to cuddle right away. One thing I always do is to set up a plan B just in case there's a cancellation or a no-show, and I make sure it's something I'd really almost rather do. That way if things fall through, I end up excited about being able to do plan B and I'm never let down. I take good care of myself, book a massage, a spa, a movie, and over time as I've completed more cuddles, this place has started to make more sense to me.

    Basically, no. The site is very good at weeding out dubious profiles, and does so many times a day both automatically and manually.

    You right to be cautious, but this one sounds more like a misunderstanding or screw-up than anything suspicious. If you do meet something suspicious, always Report it - better safe than sorry. Even if you're not sure, it can help the mods spot a pattern.

    New profiles, with few or no karma, are a different matter and some of those are definitely problematic.

    Agree with what others have said, it's pretty much impossible that an account could have a load of karma and be fake. Chances are there was a bit of a miscommunication or misunderstanding between you and the professional cuddler. @chancel_bamvi

    This my assumption if she a traveling pro cuddler.
    Frst, that is understandable she reach out. I get few of those.
    Second. She was willing to give her address. Is just a temporary location .

    Third. Her number. I noticed Some pro cuddler thy dont use their main number. Google phone numbers or something.

    If says she has a lot of Karma. Then she should be cool.

    There's a traveler that I've seen once that will always post, a week or so ahead, that she'll be in St. Louis. She's a natural born pro that I'm looking forward to seeing again. My problem is, when she does come to town, I've already blown through my cuddle cash budget for the month. I guess I need to establish a special savings account. The first time I saw her I was checking out her profile and she wrote that she was going to be doing some traveling so I reached out. I then heard from her a couple weeks before she came to town and we set up a session.

    As for karma or the lack thereof I've had another traveler, and occasional local pros on this site, who have specifically requested that I not leave karma, after we've had a great session. Don't know why. I don't ask questions.

    @MxSmith Like totally different area. I'm near DC, where she said she would be, but then gave an address in Illinois state. But perhaps you're right. Just a misunderstanding.

    @chancel_bamvi it’s all good 👍🏻 clear communication is always important. If you ever have doubts or questions/concerns, a caring pro will be more than happy to answer anything to make sure you understand what’s happening. If something doesn’t make sense, don’t block yet, ask first.

    I wouldn't say "fake," but I had a bad experience of miscommunication/lack of commuication and no-show/no-call experience with a pro who had well over 100 positive karma reviews.

    @OhioMike They finally contacted me only after I had left them a one-star review, and they asked me to delete the review. I told them on the phone I would delete it but hoped they wouldn't do to anyone else what they did to me. Then I sent them a message detailing what had happened and how I had tried to reach them repeatedly to confirm our session and could see that they were online at the times I messaged them. Later on I decided to report them to the mods in case that would help others not experience the same thing; then the pro blocked me. Closure enough, I suppose.

    While a profile may not be fake the word professional is misleading . many are just about the money . send money before we cuddle is a red flag for me .if you do what the professional wants it's all good .these people give other professionals a bad image . guess there is no way to stop this .it's up to a person to choose or not choose a cuddler.

    I contacted a pro recently because I was in her area. She said she wasn’t in the city I was in but would be there in a couple weeks. I saw a comment on the boards that indicated she actually was in the area that I was in but not specifically in the city I was in. She was maybe 30 minutes from where I was. When I saw that, I thought, wait a minute, she was around where I was, why did she say I wasn’t? I thought back though and realized that I never asked where specifically she was so the problem was that it was me who wasn’t clear in my questions. I hope that all made sense 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣

    @Gaba Asking for a deposit should not be a red flag. If you can't trust them enough to send them some earnest money, can you trust them with your body, heart, and mind? If you don't trust them with your money, maybe your lack of trust in them should be a red flag that you don’t know them well enough.

    I'm glad when I call for furnace repair they don't ask for a deposit before they come out . what happened to paying for services upon delivery ?

    I had to pay my tree service half up front when they weren't going to do the work for three months. I had to pay the furnace people half up front to get them to install a furnace. It's common practice.

    @Gaba the idea of paying upon delivery is changing all the time I know my heating and air is payed in advance in a service agreement/ maintenance arrangement. I ordered things for holidays I paid for over a month ago and still haven’t received them. One local fast food restaurant here has closed lobby and only accepts credit cards. People who have cash and no vehicle are out of luck on getting service. Paying for services is changing! I mean I like COD but it’s getting more rare😳. COD stands for cash on delivery for you young people 🤣

    In a lot of cases, cuddlers ask for money up front because of how often clients cancel on them.

    Yes people do cancel for many reasons . nothing worse than sending a deposit and not having it refunded when you get cancelled .
