In the filters, you can set it to "Last Online." I would set it Last Online Less than a Week ago if looking for active members. If you are new here, please keep in mind that the ratio of men to women is such that there are way more men (7 times more in my area), so temper your expectations accordingly.

Most websites have loads of old accounts because there is little or no upside to cleaning them up.
Don't bother with anybody who hasn't logged on in the last month. A few come back of course, but you'll see them when they do.

Dead accounts life accounts are the same for me, both don't respond. I prefer the dead one because I know they didn't read my message to ignore me.

@mikecuddle27 we can’t force people to engage. As a male pro who has been active on this site since October 2020, I’ve seen men sign up for pro accounts and not even log in again— probably because they thought they’d get a bunch of requests and make a bunch of easy money 🤑 and, getting none, had no reason to log in. I can’t speak to female pros, but I suppose if all they want is to make money, and they get no work — or no serious platonic requests — they have no reason to log in either. I think you have to believe in cuddling as a movement to remain active on this site. If it’s just instant gratification people are looking for, they won’t last.
Every site has dead accounts. This is not a dating site, but dating sites are chock full of them.

@FelineCuddles I love the term you just used, cuddle tourism! I’ve also heard cuddle tour which is quite fitting. Hopefully platforms aimed at connecting people for platonic touch such as this amazing site continue to grow and de stigmatize getting these needs met but until then I am happy to travel to cuddle and connect with fresh faces. Even more grateful when people travel great distances just to cuddle and connect with me.

It's a fact of being on any social media or community site. Some people just aren't very active. While there are options to deactivate your account, it's at the user's discretion to utilize them.
