I think it would be pretty amazing if the members of cuddle comfort could all participate in a charity event to raise money for a worthy cause. What do you all think?
This could be a boon to the site overall, as well as to the charity. I would like to think we could all agree on a charity and how things should be set up for the fundraiser, and that @Mark would promote it.
Personally, I like No Kid Hungry, because childhood hunger is an ongoing problem which has a ripple effect to education, which in turn has a ripple effect to the crime rate. Either that or Disabled Veterans of America, which uses something like 96% of the funds for its actual intended purposes and programs, of which it has many. (Some charities use a huge chunk for marketing.)
I would most definitely participate in something like this. I'm an active volunteer and there are so many charities worth supporting.
