How do you report a pro cuddler?

I had someone stand me up 5 times in the last several months including 2 times this past week. Always with seemingly "legitimate reasons" so I kept giving her the benefit of doubt. Things like my grandmother had a seizure and I am in the hospital with her. I had a car accident, I had to work late, etc. I finally called her out on it and she blocked me. I didn't have a chance to leave any karma. She wasted a lot of my nights, time, and energy. Nothing but a liar.

Now that you have posted about it, just Flag your own post with the name and details.

It's holidays, so it might take longer than usual for a response.

Ugh! I'm sorry this happened to you. Generally, if someone blocks you and you've communicated with them on here, you can still leave them karma (I called a guy out on his non-platonic, extremely disgusting behavior, he blocked me, and the option to leave karma was there). So when you type in cuddlecomfort.com/(whatevertheirnameis) it doesn't say "block back", "add karma" or "report" as your options? That's what I've seen on my end. Let me know if it works. Message me if you need additional help.

If she blocked you go to contact us and contact them by email or still need help

  • Always leave the one star “she flaked” review first. She can’t get rid of it even if she blocks you. Now the review will disappear if she has snippets of a conversation via messages or text where you overstepped boundaries.

  • Thanks for help. No, never overstepped any boundaries. Never seen her or even talked to her. All emails and texts. Everything was cordial until I called her out on her excuses. I am just puzzled as to why even accept a booking if you have not intentions of going? The sad thing is I really believed her.

  • That stinks that she kept making excuses like that, and if she was fibbing about things like grandma having a seizure… well, that’s just awful karma (like actual spiritual karma)

I had a funky experience on here where I contacted a non-pro and had a very nice hour long cuddle by a lake. After getting the “free” session, she then declared that she was going to sign up to be a pro and if we wanted to have another session, as the name implies, I’d be paying for it.

I gave her a counter offer where I would and cook and deliver meals to her in exchange for the sessions (that’s what I do for a living) and she enthusiastically agreed. I delivered food to her several days later, then the next day she told me she was no longer interested in our barter agreement and stopped communicating.

Since then she has put her account on pause, so leaving a karma on her profile likely wouldn’t do any good. Thanks for listening you guys, I just felt frustrated and wanted to share my story.

  • @cuddletime222 If I had to speculate she might have had multiple offers, maybe even had them bid up and left you out in the cold. Just a guess though.

  • @FunCartel 100% i agree with that and it's not first time happens

  • Funny, I went to a exact similar situation.

( I notice you live in Florida, if this comment was from LA- I would swear it was the same person)

You have more patience than me though. At the end, im the who cancel and call it quit. But not enough reason to leave her bad karma and report her. We all have problems and go through stuff.

@Chris04 I disagree. Someone who stands people up and does not communicate that or repeatedly does it as the OP stated is candidate 0 for one star karma. And you do see this on pro profiles who sport one star karma. Inevitably they earned the review by flaking. I veer away from those pros or enthusiasts.

  • It sucks that there are people that sign up to be pros and don’t really take it seriously. If her reasons for cancelling are lies, it’s really sad and the fact that she leaves you ghosted and feeling like your side doesn’t matter, is disheartening 😢
The idea that she would get you excited for a session multiple times and then cancel without even offering a complimentary “extra time added”, to your next cuddle, (considering she’s done this multiple times), is crappy.
I don’t think there are that many women that would do this for fun and constantly cancel to laugh at you in the background, but it sucks that she would go through the time it takes to find a new date and time, make a booking and go through the process just to cancel. If it’s because she keeps deciding she doesn’t want to go through with it, she needs to look inside herself and see if this is something she wants to do for extra money.

Not from a pro, though dealt with a case like that and it was awful. Sorry you're going through it.

Cause of the holidays it may take a bit longer for moderators to get back to you, though you can still report her through the conversation you had.

Almost recently had another like that, with him disappearing for days and weeks, sounding like he was on the fence, etc. By the third time, which I was being too generous giving him a second chance, I had to say a final no followed by a block. If you can't take it or don't want to, you've a right to protect yourself.

Hope it's* resolved for you soon, that's unreasonable to constantly do to someone.

That sucks, though we have to acknowledge experiences similar to this can be common. This is because literally anyone can sign up to be a professional cuddler instantly. Just because someone is a "professional" cuddler doesn't guarantee professionalism, ethics, safety and so on.

There is no required training to be a pro cuddler. To make a comparison to what I consider to be cuddling's sister profession, massage therapists (MT's) have to be licensed and you've generally worked very hard for that license so you are deeply invested in truly caring about people and the services you provide them. So flakyness like this on the part of the MT is very uncommon.

I know the site goes through a process of people applying and then approving or denying them to be a pro cuddler, but correct me if I'm wrong, it seems the main thing the site is screening for is to ensure they truly only have platonic intentions as a pro. If they don't see any red flags of that nature, pros are generally quickly approved. I guess what I'm saying is as pro cuddling grows I see schooling, licensing, and continuing education to be created and required by law as a solution to all these issues, like we now have for massage therapists.

  • @FunCartel
    Wait Wait Wait
    Here my experience...

This one pro cuddler kept on postponing

1st reason - she with her gradma in
    Hospital
    2 an emergency came up.
    3 she moved

This was over 3 months period. And I needed my cuddle, so I the one who endedup canceling and made an appointment with another pro cuddler.
If would've insisted she probably came up with an excuse for the 4th 5th 6th 7th time....

Clarify. Im not defending the pro cuddler the op is talking about.
But the Op just kept on insisting given her the benefit of the doubt and now he all butt hurt.
Could've look for some one else right from the start. And let's suppose the pro cuddler is right on all the excuses pro cuddler came up with.
Pro cuddlers also go through hard time.

@MattsWeather very well said and the problem they make bad images of pros

  • After “the excuses”, why they couldn’t meet, did they themselves ask to reschedule, or did you took it upon yourself to reschedule…. The reason why I ask is because maybe they found something which they deemed not compatible, or for whatever reason just rather not cuddle with you ( sorry if my wording is is not the best, I’m trying to find the best way to say it but there’s no other way), & instead of voicing it, or trying not to be rude or offend, they probably hoped that you would move on, & since you didn’t they just kept coming up with a new excuse every time you tried to reschedule again., is it possible this is the case? & is there a reason why you tried booking 5 times & not move on to a different pro cuddler after the 2nd time of trying, I think reporting them might be a bit excessive.

  • "But the Op just kept on insisting given her the benefit of the doubt and now he all butt hurt.

"Could've" isn't gonna change what he went through. Also It isn't his fault that she kept agreeing, then kept coming up with excuses time after time for 5 times in the last couple of months. Instead of better communicating with him that she either doesn't want to proceed with him or trying to make something actually work. You can't blame him for trying to connect with someone, especially a pro who is getting paid for it. Not to mention that she was saying things that he was trying to be understanding and accommedating about.

Though I do agree that moving forward and having learned from it, it is probably better to be a lot more strict about who, when and how many times we are willing to give others the benefit of the doubt. To look after our best interest.

@cuddles_ndream 👌👌👌 move on it's always best solution because it's not first time it happens always we should expect that. I always expect bad things to happen in the future and i just move on .
I had a meeting with enthusiast i was waiting for her,she just switched her phone off and blocked me, the only thing i did just move what can i do, it was an evil thing to do to someone.

  • @cuddles_ndream
Thank you. Thats the point I was traying to make.

    What's OP means?

Either Original Poster (the person who started the thread) or Original Post (the comment with which they started the thread). Seems most often used to refer to the person but sometimes refers to their initial comment. In this case @cuddletime222 would be the OP. - Babichev

@Chris04 not all pros but some if you kept cancelling or postponing, they don't like it , but when it happens to clients it's fine but not all i said some ☝

  • I think leaving a review would be best and if she owes you money that she didn't deliver its service, you can talk with the mods about it. Other than that I don't think anything can be done about it and you can choose to not give your business to her hereafter.

  • PS. Though telling the mods about her being a big flake may still help, especially if others end up having to report similar issues.

  • @Lovelight
I went though a exact similar situation.
No im I didn't report the pro cuddler or left pro cuddler a bad karma. I just move on to the next one.

    @Ahmedali999
Im a client that defends good pro cuddlers.
And no im not defending the pro cuddler that postpone nearly 10 times.

  • edited December 2021

@Chris04 I'm same as you only like good pros , my point was about bad pros if the client postponing or cancelling they wouldn't like it for sure.

  • @Chris04 & @Ahmedali999 thank you! I think Any of us would have our feelings hurt if a pro voices they rather not meet with us, or at the very least feel bad, & everything in life doesn’t have to be so “robotic” … we could learn to take cues, I can only imagine someone trying to be honest & upfront with someone, & the person on the other end being nasty / disrespectful because of the rejection … also I could see pros genuinely not wanting to hurt anyones feelings because they themselves know how it would feel , or they wouldn’t want it to happen to them ect …. Or they may fear some type of disciplinary action due to not accepting someone’s request , so I can see how the “excuses” seems to be the best option … that & also they go off vibes / gut feeling / interactions ect , there is no good way to voice that they don’t feel safe or comfortable with a session … we should all as a community get better with cues, & not feel that anyone has to accept a request or is obligated to give an explanation… let’s just move on & reach out to others.

  • @Ahmedali999
So True. I had one that got mad at me.

But the Op, I don't understand after the pro cuddler postponed nearly 10 times. How is it that the op didn't got the hint that just maybe didn't wanted to cuddle.

  • @cuddles_ndream
    Funny you read my mind...
Through out my life I ask girls out if thy want to be my girlfriend. No one straight out said no.. they gave me this lame excuses or didn't said anything. My assumption they didn't wanted to hurt my feelings. This pro cuddler, probably just doesn't know how to say no with out hurting the op feelings.
