My 3 BOOKS which would you read

my new years resolution is get my books launched by the end of the year. LET ME KNOW which book would you like to see most

FIRST book on pyschological warfare on men and women dating and behaviors and habits but written in a form as if you were a military operation who had to enter each other's brains and ther personification of thoughts and feelings and from men and women will be played out as either enemies or civilians to save as the soldiers take a deep dive through the maze of emotions i. Their brains.

2nd book
Will be about everyday decision making put into numbers and raw data form and visual illustrations. Like resisting urges to eat sweets or actions to you took tk discipline yourself to workout or go to work or pushing through struggles or doing things you didn't have to l...all of these things I found a way to put them in a numerical structure and formula to track progress to see how far you have grown or learned specifically in certain areas or still need help with

3rd book
A motivational book usually uniquely crafted characters targeting different styles and in the future I will be working on an audio version with hired voice actors. Using the same situation in life i will present 3 different approaches to the same topic. A Red roach With a loud mouth wesring a Hoodia will have the stern outspoken approach to life. a green fuzzy animal with big eyes will have the.lovely dovey sugar-coated approach to life and a white polar bear with glasses a more analytical approach to life. Different people are motivated by different approaches and unmoved by another so creating a book with 3 approaches to same scenarios in life. Quitting a job you hate, relationships, career development, laziness, depression anxiety etc.

  • I cannot answer the question as asked since I know nothing about you as a person or an author.

  • As an avid reader, used to choosing books based on less information than this, here's my take:

    Book One
I would never read this. The whole sex and gender are binary, men are from Mars women are from Venus thing is not only inaccurate, it's entirely played out.

    Book Two
Putting numbers on self-discipline is a vaguely interesting idea. I might page through a book like this in the library if I were bored enough.

    Book Three
A book that attempts to reduce every human's approach to life to three stereotypes, each one represented by a different anthropomorphized animal... nah, I wouldn't read it.

So, in order from most to least appealing: 2, 3, 1.

    Hope this helps!

  • Heyy appreciate the feedback its all for entertainment not that I have any monopoly on truth or anything just expression of thoughts since writing is art🥰 who would have thought a talking fish would generate millions of dollars or a singing plant that eats people or a boys neglect of inanimate objects. Life is full of stories to be told 🥰

  • I don't find any of the ideas appealing, in all honesty. That's fine: there's a market for everything!

I am curious about something, however. Is English your native language?

  • If I were at a Barnes and Noble and read each description as you described, I would be most interested in book 1. Second choice would be book 3. And finally book 2 would be the least likely book for me to be interested. Although it has a unique quality to it, I'm not really sure numbers work like that. If using statistics, would make more sense to me. For example 42% of people have an exercise progam in the morning. Whereas 27% of people who have an evening workout. But what is the percentage of people being successful in completing it? Then going on from there regarding different statistics if you have a workout buddy, if you live alone, have a home gym vs. going to the gym, and maybe divided up by gender. So in the end, how likely would an average person be successful in completing their workout? It could help people have the highest success rate possible if they followed a certain path when wishing to start an exercise program. Ok looks like I just went off on a tangent as I normally do. Hey, good luck on your books Newlife2022.

  • @Newlife2022: Huh. I never thought of self-help as "all for entertainment" before. It would certainly explain a lot. Well, whatever the case... good luck.

Thanks for feedback perhaps I'll could possibly get everyone free copies here at the end of the year but I can elaborate more on the books and yes English is my first language but im.nkt too good at it lol which is why I willnhave my editorial team look at my books. I also plan to continue to study and learn other languages Japanese Korean and Spanish

Book one is more similar to that movie inside out or there was another movie where they personified emotions and feelings mine would do the same but in the form if a military operation soldier s trying to either save someone or take down the bad guy also set into like a video game format

Book two will definitely be my hardest challenge because im.turning emotions and feelingsinto legit numbers and data anger into a formula or frustrationinto a formula or disciplineinto a formula. And everytime you do something or don't do something I've created a numerical structure that you can visualize just like a ceo may look at company numbers and decide to make decisions based on the numbers they see. In the case the Ceonwill be yourself perhaps you noticed based off the data you been giving to much energy to others and neglecting your self worth but didn't notice it before because it was so casual but once in numbers and illustrations perhaps you can see yourself drift in a more concrete way

Book 3 is the one I have technically started because I've gotten the most feedback since most people don't like motivation books because some people are not motivated but the super loud yelling get off your butt get going never give up type of motivation some people prefer a calm collected analytical approach and will be totally unmotivated by any other approach. Why some people could enjoy Neil tyson or Jordan Peterson but not Steve Harvey or Td jakes. So since I can't out 1000 styles and approaches I simply chose 3 not that they are the only way to go about it. How would you motivate your little brother or a close friend or a husband or wife who doesn't want to go to work. Would you use a loving sugar-coated approach and the end up not taking you serious would use an analytical approach and they get bored by numbers or a stern aggressive approach to let them know the consequences and perhaps they get scared and don't do anything. Who knows what approach people will be moved by

  • Self help content is awesome, though at some point we gotta break free from it and actually do the work. Which is what I'm working on, don't get caught up with tutorial or self help 'hell' is the stage I'm at.

Plus, as someone who's not big on reading, I find a book that's like 80% colorful illustrations and 20% audio would be more appealing to me. Okay... I'm exaggerating somewhat. Though big font books with a fair amount of illustrations. Or better yet, animated video of it would be the best for me. If it came in something to that effect, I'd go with 2.

I am sure I'm 'asking' for too much, so feel free to kick me out of the 'library.' Reading? What's that? 😅

Though 3rd and 1st one also pique my interest, with the 3rd piquing it more than the latter.

  • I'm definitely hiring full blown voice actors fir book 3 I already got my artists for illustrations and animations so wouldn't mind hiring people from cc either. Should be intresting nonetheless ill probably start a Kickstart also. I've talked to a publisher book 3 us what they most intrested in because the characters voice acting and animations create a brand and takes the self help a different direction and will be more question based so people come to their own conclusions

  • I will wait for the pig Latin translation

  • Regarding Book 1, I prefer books that bring the sexes (or races) together by emphasizing our similarities rather than books that divide and separate us based on pre-conceived stereotypes.
Books 2 and 3 I haven't the slightest interest in, they have no relevancy for me.

  • I'm in the military and I am so done with psychology. Book one is a no-go for me. As far as self-help goes, I prefer help from people who have already been successful. Financial, something like "Cash Flow Quadrant" by Robert Kiyosaki or something like that. Physical health, John Jubilee. Emotional health, C.S Lewis and "The Problem of Pain" and "A Grief Observed." Spiritual help, the Scripture. Getting into self-help is like getting into restaurants: the competition is very high, and the success rate is very low. You have to have name recognition or tons of small successes.

But it appears to me that you would appeal to the self-help market in another way, not directly as an author. It seems like you prefer analysis, and that may help other psychologists with case work and aggregating data from a lot of cases to help them tailor their methods to better suit their clients. People do write research text books for other academics. They obviously don't have the sales volume that someone with name recognition has, but it might satisfy the itch you seem to have of blending psychology, data analysis, and communication.
