One of the dating sites I've been on has a similar feature. Each user can shut it off, but, if you don't allow people see your visits, you can't see who visited you. Almost nobody shuts it off!

I agree with Choice777. I visit a profile either because that user visited mine and didn't message, or because I find the person interesting. But being new her, and in a sexual minority (gay man) if there is nothing in that profile that screams out to me, I probably won't take the chance.
