Where’s the light at the end of the tunnel?

I’ve been facing some difficult life challenges that have messed with how I feel over all. Most days I fantasize about how I can end the pain. I’m so afraid of reaching out to people, but I’m drowning. And I really wish I didn’t feel alone, it’s unfortunate to suffer from something we have no control over, and ultimately be something that takes over completely. Just hope there’s a place for all of us who are lost…. I’m trying to stay hopeful for the future, as each day gets more blurry….

  • @SitaRosee I'm sorry for the pain and difficulty you are experiencing. I don't have words that will fix it all, but I want you to know that you are seen and heard.

  • @JoyfulHeart thank you ❤️❤️ I’ve been doing a lot of crying. It’s a battle within myself that I have to somehow overcome

It's very easy to feel all alone when you are suffering. But there are other people going through it and other people who have been where you are. I hope you can find some solace that even people who only know you through here care and are willing to be there for you.

  • @blisscuddles thank you! I have a friend coming by to visit me today. Pretty much my only friend at the moment, it’ll be a nice for me to spend some time with her ✨

  • @Nature_Lover_ thank you for being so kind! It’s been weeks weighing heavy on me, I’ve just struggled with communicating how I feel to others, some days I’m able to push through it, last night, I just couldn’t stop crying :( today is a new day, I’m gonna try better to not feel so miserable

  • @WriterGF thank you! It does often feel extremely lonely for me. It’s the life I’m pretty much dealing with right now, it’s gonna take some time to get better, I just have to survive it :/

  • Sorry to hear this. I've been down a couple of dark places, and luckily had friends to help me out. Changing my location helped somewhat as well. Yourself is trying to tell yourself that it's looking for some kind of change. I hope you navigate the waters and find it. While I'm not on your ship, and I may not know where your ship needs to go, I can tell you the general things that make a ship sea-worthy. Or maybe you are just in really rough waters and need to weather the storm for a while.

    Sending you good vibes💓

@SitaRosee your friends here in Ohio are always thinking of you and supporting you. Sending virtual comfort across this land to you. 🤗

  • @SitaRosee please consider talking to a doctor. Two years ago my world fell apart and psych meds really helped me survive all that. They don't take your problems away, they just make it a little easier to handle them. Hugs

  • @SitaRosee I hear you lovely! And I’m here for you. Private messaged you back! All the good vibes, love and hugs your way!

Sharing has brought some great advice and a great show of compassion and I fully support expression and also being actionable when we are not our best selves or are unwell. A number of people benefit greatly from cuddle therapy, others I’ve encountered have had tremendous improvements with ketamine therapy, psychedelics, talk therapy, psychiatric attention and the list goes on. Fully encourage you to continue explore any options you may see viable and wish you the best 💗

  • 💜💜💜💜💜 when you find the light let me know. I'm searching for it too.

  • It may not be a bright light at first, just little flickers. Let those flickers in time spark the path to that light at the end.

  • @SitaRosee ~ I think your strength is remarkable - Whether you loosened the lid or the vessel just broke open - To allow yourself (in all your overwhelming pain and anguish) to come online and share your reality... You are the light. You are the light in your own darkness. Your best advocate. Your greatest ally and friend.

You're reaching out! I hope you continue that as you're able. Eventually, you'll find something that provides you some stability, a railing of sorts, that will help guide you through this darkened maze and out to the other side. To where you can refuel and rest comfortably for a while.

I wish you all the best and you're absolutely right ~ You just need to survive it.
    And you are!

  • Now that you have shared, you are not alone, and we are with you, and we support you.

  • @SitaRosee As one who has had the privilege to cuddle with you, this breaks my heart. I know words can only do so much, but I am thinking of you, sending all my wishes your way and if your thoughts begin pulling you into the ether, my shoulder will always be there for you to cry on, sit in silence or unload as you wish. You are special and absolutely worth the fight to get through this.

  • @SitaRosee I want to first say I am so sorry for what you're going through. Secondly, I want to let you know that I can relate a little. Since losing my job in 2020, I've been very lost. And really I have felt that way since around 2017. I struggle with anxiety and depression. I concur with everything you said in your post. I actually posted something similar to what you did on here, and got so many positive responses, as you have so far. And I say all that to say this is a safe space to express how you're feeling. Also, I hope that these responses will help you feel less alone. It's definitely a journey trying to get to that light at the end of this long tunnel. My sincere hope is people will walk with you on that journey, and be there to support you in whatever way you need them.

  • @SweetiSammi thank you for the information, I’ll do my best to use that number as a resource if thoughts increase. After yesterday I’m feeling better right now. I have more clarity. My fear for the future has made things blurry for me. But I’m trying every day to have a better outcome

  • @sunnysideup thank you for the detailed advice, I don’t really have friends or family. I have one really good friend who makes time to visit me when she’s in town. That helps a lot. The things I’m currently dealing with has had me feeling like a ghost. Like people see me but they have no interest in interacting with me. I do enjoy the water in the summer, going swimming does help me lift my spirits. Hopefully I’ll get to do that soon ✨

  • @OhioMike thank you ❤️ Sending you some hugs back!!

  • @Cuddle_RN i do have a therapist and a psychologist who has provided me with medications. To be honest though I have been on psych meds a lot throughout my life and I have a hard time with taking them. I do believe they can be helpful, I just struggle actually taking them :(
I guess I’ve also had that mentality where I want to believe I can overcome my mental problems without medicating myself. So far it’s been two years without an attempt. So it’s an accomplishment for me, it’s just struggling with the thoughts and forcing myself to walk away from them as comforting as they may seem at the time.

  • Sending you a little extra light. Remember we are all rooting for you. 💜

  • Glad we got to see each other yesterday my beautiful friend. It will all work itself out, you got this!! ☺️

  • @SitaRosee, I understand. I was on and off a low dose of Zoloft for many years before my divorce. I finally got to a point where I accepted that taking the medication stopped me from planning my own death. And that's a good thing :)
