Do the pros travel easily ?

Hello everyone, I just registered yesterday, I'm new and I don't know all the details of the community yet

I noticed that in my geographical area there are not so many pros available and I guess there is still a significant part that do not respond to booking requests for XYZ reasons

And I was wondering if it was common to book some cuddlers to travel long distances and long periods of time, money is not a problem for me but I was wondering if it was something that many pros accept or if it was rather rare

Not having any karma or experience here, I don't want to look like a weird guy by offering to travel with me for a week for example, even if I imagine that the community is more open and comprehensive than normal

  • I know for most female pros, travelling with a cuddler is fun if it’s someone you know but when it comes to a new cuddler booking a pro and offering to pay for the pros flight there and back or doing a road trip or something, most female pros wouldn’t feel safe doing it.

  • That's what I was thinking, it can be a nice experience especially with someone you see regularly but for a first time it's complicated unless you are a bit "known" on the site I guess

In my personal case it's not really a choice, I don't live in a big city and if I have a pro come from far away she's not going to stay here for just 2 hours

  • Yea, that’s true 🤔 there were times where I’ve driven 2 hours or so just for a one hour session. That was a bummer but they really needed cuddles so 🤷🏼‍♀️

How far away are the pros that come to you? Like how far of a drive?

  • For the moment I haven't booked anyone yet I just arrived yesterday :) but to give you an example I contacted a woman who is in the UK while I am in France

I proposed her to stay two days here, we'll see if she agrees

A lot of profiles haven't been online for a long time so it's unlikely that they'll be free for a date and as it's my first time here I'm taking profiles with karma only

  • That’s a good idea 👍🏻 I hope you’re able to find someone. Here’s hoping you get it figured out with the UK pro 🤞🤞

I think the general travel policy is expecting you to cover travel costs (be it flying, trains, or driving) and accommodations (hotel) as well as the session cost. For the majority of Pros, this is not a full-time job, and often secondary to a full-time job or school, so traveling with someone for a week can be hard, and highly unlikely to be done with someone they haven't met before.

I have flown 6+ hours to people I have not met before for a shorter session (2-3 hours), asking that they paid for all travel costs up front, in part because I wanted to visit that city anyways, but every Pro is going to have their own policies! It may be easier to first meet someone in a nearby city when you travel there to create a connection.

It's a good idea to look at profiles with karma only! Unfortunately, a lot of Pros come and go on this site - those who haven't been active in a while may not come on the site again. But fingers crossed that they return (: Best of luck!

  • @android3665 - you might want to try traveling to them first and give them a chance to know you.

  • @Babichev - Yes, that makes sense

the important thing is to know a person well before starting to ask for longer appointments away from home, I keep this in mind

  • It also explains why there is sometimes a long delay between the time I send a message and when I receive a reply, many pros don't do this full time unless they have many regular customers

  • @android3665, I poked around in your area and it looks like you have to extend your radius to 150 miles to find any pro, and she’s in a different country! That’s so tough.

I think your best bet would be to take a weekend trip to London.

Not only that but also the fact that many people in my area have not logged in for a long time so there is absolutely no chance of getting a response or an appointment

I spoke to a lovely person in the UK who would be willing to travel here for a couple of days but you're right I might have to travel a bit more :)

They will have to put up with my very French accent :)

  • London is definitely your best bet in Europe, although the Amsterdam and Paris areas might also offer possibilities.

  • @android3665

I think this is the wrong website to be on if you're only looking for women to travel with you.

There are other websites to find travel companions.

  • @android3665 I feel like most people in the US enjoy very french accents - is that not true in Europe?
