Added a link in Settings page for Forum email preferences.

One of the things you can do there is enable emails for when someone mentions your username.

    Thanks, @Mark!

It's entirely possible that I'm incredibly late noticing this, but I see there's an option to upload images now. Sweet! That's a welcome feature. Thank you, @Mark!

I forgot to mention it at the time but was done mid-July. Glad you like it :)

  • That option is FANTASTIC

Mark, I may have mentioned it before, but with the visitors feature, the best handling I've seen was a site where you could block others from seeing that you visited, but at the same time, you could no longer see who was visiting you. I like the visitor feature, I meet more people that way. If some users are anonymous, but can still see who views them ,it's hardly fair, and may even promote stalking.

I notice that I don't get friend request notifications until I receive an email from the site, which can occasionally be sparse. Sometimes I leave requests sitting for longer than intended as a result. I like the red outline that informs you of new private messages on the forum. I'm wondering if there may be something similar in the works for being alerted to requests.

  • A given profile will show the distance from your location. I would like the profile to include a zip code if possible.

@Greybeard I agree it's a good feature generally. What makes me hesistant is the size of this community and therefore the increased value of the Visitors section compared to other non-niche websites. I've noted it down for future consideration.

@VIPirate Yeah, it's already on the list. There's no good reason for its absence.

@chillaxing I suspect there might be some major privacy concerns on that one.

  • [Deleted User]VIPirate (deleted user)

@Mark Good to know! You're doing a fine job, sir.

  • [Deleted User]chococuddles (deleted user)

    Loving the freeflow of ideas!

No disrespect but I disagree with a "like" button as well as showing distance from your location.

I wouldn't mind a way to clear your inbox and sent messages. Either a 'select all' and 'delete' button or an 'x' next to messages to delete them instead of having to go inside each message to delete it.

  • How about adding state and/or country to the visitors log so that we don't have to click on a visitor's profile to find out where they're located? Too many men take a visit as encouragement when it's not meant as such

  • [Deleted User]Unknown (deleted user)

How about links to geography lessons for members. Lol

  • [Deleted User]chococuddles (deleted user)

    CuddleCompass?

  • Those whose profiles actually get visited would find it useful. For example, there are a couple dozen U.S. towns named Springfield. Athens, Greece v. Georgia. Troy, Idaho v. New York v. Greece. Paris, France is viable from where I live but Paris, Texas is not. Etc.

How about shutting down the offsite locker room from whence you coordinate your attacks on women? Yes, it's widely known.

  • [Deleted User]Unknown (deleted user)

Those who think they get many profile vists can attribute some of the volume due to mistakes , those using phones scrolls by touching the screen wrong results in a visit to someone's profile ,not because they think they are a draw.
IMO locker room , and platonic room , can coexist next to one another , provided the population have their mind right about it . Read some of the discussion titles "Cuddle sluts ". Cuddle porn, etc

  • My suggestion is logical and reasonable. You're just angry that I've been challenging misogynistic commentary. Get over it and please stick to the subject thread, which is suggestions to benefit this site. Since Mark has said distance indications are impractical, I'm offering an alternative that may help, since my experience is that clicking on someone's profile to determine location has been assumed to be an indication of interest. Men's egos are fragile enough that anything that avoids a perception of rejection will benefit the majority community.

@sometimes This is not specific to the post above but please remember this is a place for peace. You are encouraged to challenge opinion respectfully but I've been seeing a lot of combative posting from your account and that isn't welcome.

    @sparkyblue-eyes @chococuddles No baiting please.

@Mark I am curious, is the forum currently formatted for embedding videos? I have a Halloween themed one I wanted to share with everyone but not certain it would work as anything more than a link to follow. Not a big deal either way. Just wondering. :)

Yep, you just paste the YouTube URL and it will automatically embed.

  • [Deleted User]VIPirate (deleted user)

@Mark Much appreciated! I will do so a bit later.

  • [Deleted User]RScarf1 (deleted user)

sometimes blocked me because I had a difference of opinion on the forum. :p

  • No, @Rscarf1, I blocked you because I don't ever want to get a PM from you, based on the message I received from one of the group that coordinates its activities on this forum.

@Mark. Im dealing with a medical emergency and Will respond to you when it's over.

  • [Deleted User]RScarf1 (deleted user)

First of all, I would never have sent you a PM. Secondly, you supposedly received a message from someone here about me which caused you to block me. I was just going to look at your profile because of the reply you gave me on this forum which was very disrespectful and untrue.

@RScarf This isn't the place to complain about someone blocking you. That's just a private matter between you and another user. Maybe someone should create a off-topic thread where people can talk about random unrelated matters like that.

@sometimes No need to respond as I won't be discussing it here. It's my opinion as a moderator and just needs to be kept in mind going forward. Sorry to hear about your offline situation there, hope that turns out ok.

  • [Deleted User]RScarf1 (deleted user)

I apologize, Mark. I was reading her statement above that men's egos are fragile. I won't do it again. I just want to add that she has falsely portrayed me on this forum and I don't appreciate it.

  • An automatic notification would be good for people who are inactive for over 6+ months like a reminder to update or if they choose, to delete their account.

  • [Deleted User]Unknown (deleted user)

Sometimes I hope whoever is sick has a speedy recovery

  • [Deleted User]SexyBrit (deleted user)

Perhaps it might be an idea to add to the profiles a form that shows your Preferences for the more common cuddling positions?

There would need to be some description for clarification and to help newbies who don't know the terminology.

It might help people find compatible people.

  • [Deleted User]chococuddles (deleted user)

Was it made mandatory that pros list their prices in their headline? Most have them but I see a few that don't.

Just wondering if anything was decided about inactive accounts? Was just browsing around and notice some haven't been on here for 8-12 months and a few pros haven't been on for 6-9 months.

    1. Should there be a designated time when profiles are automatically deactivated (not deleted) to make searching easier for those actively looking? 3-6 months?
    2. Should pros and non-pros be given the same amount of time?
    3. If a designated time is too militant is there a way to add a search function for activity (online now, within a day, within a week, within a month).

Life happens so people shouldn't be punished if they don't log in for a few weeks but if it's 3-6 months it seems like they're taking a serious break or just lost interest.

Yes I'm aware cuddlers pop up in searches from most recently active but it's not quite the same.
