Professional Cuddlers that don't respond?

[Deleted User]MichaelFJudd (deleted user)

Hi. :) I'm a person who has used this site before (and I had a great time doing it! :)) Anyway, I was wondering what I should do in the case of a professional cuddler not responding to my messages? I mean, I understand the dynamics of free cuddling (especially since women get like 100x more requests than us men do), where women are and can be more picky. But it seems to me that a professional should at least respond? I mean, the person that I cuddled with at least was up-front about the fact that she didn't have any appointments until next week and had somewhat limited availability.

NOTE: I am NOT trying to fault anyone, pro cuddler or otherwise, but I am wondering what a professional's thought process behind not responding? I think my profile looks okay except for the fact that I only have one photo. What I should do in the case of an ignored message? Should I follow-up in case it was overlooked?

    Expect nothing.

This isn't a profession where every Pro has to be cordial to every client.

If they don't respond, move on.

If you've been ignored then you've been officially initiated!

    Welcome! :3

  • This continues to be an ongoing problem.

@chococuddles - I agree 100%. Seems like some of the pros are really just amatures dipping their toes into the water to see what happens, with no real intent on cuddling. Not sure why they waste their own time, not to mention the time of potential customers, doing this. Not a good business model.

This is similar to another topic that I commented on, so I'll just repeat my response: I'm used to it now. If you contact four professional cuddlers, probably only one will want to schedule. A lot of them are flakes. You would think that the money would be a motivator, but it's not. Some of them don't even look at my profile. Most of them do though and sometimes they will reject me because of my age. Sometimes, they just ignore me because perhaps they think I'm ugly, short, and/or old. Sometimes, they schedule a session with me and then decide that they want to take a hiatus from cuddling, so basically they cancel. I would recommend just send messages to four cuddlers in your area such as the best time and day they are available. That way, you are not stating that you definitely want a session. See what responses you get. The odds are that only one will respond within a couple of days.

  • This may make me unpopular with other Pros. But potential Clients why aren't you reporting Pros that don't respond or respond unprofessionally? As part of this community is it up to all of us to politely police the activity that happens. If a listed Pro isn't being professional they should be pointed out to the admin.

It may be they are inactive but if they are indeed Pros they should respond even if it is a rejection for whatever reason. (Like any other business we have the right to refuse service to anyone.)

I'll admit I've not responded to a few blatantly bad first messages asking for things outside the client agreement and just reported them. Sometimes I just can't be bothered to let them know they are being inappropriate it gets rather tiring.

But 95% of the time I'll respond within 1 day. Even though this is a side line I have pretty ingrained business practices because I worked for very formal offices for many years.

Wow. I didn't think reporting a pro because she didn't respond favorably or at all was an option.

I thought it was widely accepted here that "a pro doesn't have to respond to anyone she doesn't want to."

Naturally if someone approaches a pro disrespectfully they should use good judgement but when about when a pro doesn't respond due to someone's height, race or age?

    Good food for thought @GeekCuddles.

  • My thoughts is that there are perhaps a subset of Pros that regularly don't respond to inquires. As seen in these forums it leads to people thinking all Pros are bad or just here for the money etc etc.

It doesn't take much to reply to an inquiry "Thanks for your inquiry, but I am not interested in a session with you."

I think using the report function for those that don't respond at all will give the admins insight into those that are listed as Pros but should perhaps be reviewed or removed.

We already are given such as bad rap on these forums that frankly most of us are probably tired of fighting against when we aren't the ones causing the issues.

The report function isn't seen by anyone but the admins therefore if they see many reports against the same person they can then make the decision. As I have faith that Mark is a reasonable person I don't see the harm in this practice.

I'm sure there will end up being reports against Pros who didn't do anything wrong but again. Mark is a reasonable person who wouldn't take action on silly one off reports and these reports aren't seen publicly so it wouldn't harm the Pro.

I think it would also help to curb some of the mudslinging here as the clients could have some sense of control in the community if they remembered they can report people too.

  • I think being a pro has some responsibilities attached to it. It's just common courtesy to respond, and very UN-Professional not to, IMHO.

Very nicely said, @GeekCuddles and @CarlosHunt.

  • This is still a problem on this site. I believe that not responding at all is not very professional. Don't want to name names.

  • [Deleted User]chococuddles (deleted user)

Won't change @CarlosHunt. Pros can pick and choose who they want to cuddle with in the same manner non-pros can.

I don’t think someone should be reported for not responding even if the are a pro, just move on and take it as a sign that they are not a behaving like a professional.

or maybe they can be very busy...simply that...it takes alot of time to review emails n reply to ALL of them. look into someone who may have more time. happy cuddling folks.

  • @stephanie123 or take it as a sign that they are not interested in a particular client who has already raised a red flag. It has been mentioned repeatedly on these threads that women often do not reply because some men become abusive when rejected.

I had contacted a pro two weeks in advance about a two hour session. We communicated up to the last 30 min. She was hosting but the location fell through a couple of hrs before we were supposed to meet. 30 min before our session, she messages me to meet at a motel. I go there, got a room and waited for over an hr. I messaged her a couple of times but she won't respond. I drove over 60 miles to see her, and spent $70 plus on a motel, and a 10 days later, she still hasn't responded.
In her profile, she makes it known that she expects to be compensated for her time and any extra expense.
Am about ready to message Mark.

I just checked her profile and think she blocked me. At least I can't pull it up, but when I go to messages, her profile doesn't say that it has been deactivated or banned.

I've banned the account now as it seems she no-showed another client recently too.

  • That’s two people in recent memory that have been no showed after renting a hotel room. And I’m sure there are some people out there that are not reporting similar experiences because they don’t want the hassle.
If I had to get a room to see a pro I would wait for the pro to show up and check in together unless it was an established pro.

  • This. ^^^ I will only see a pro at a hotel when I am traveling for business, and will thus need the room anyway. I won't chance renting a room just for a cuddle, in case it falls through. And when I really want to be guaranteed a cuddle, I will sometimes book two pros on a single trip. Not double-booked, mind you --- but two pros on two days, in case one doesn't show up. That tactic has saved me some disappointment before.

  • They should all respond.

I'm beginning to understand why some pros don't respond to some messages. I've gotten a number of first-time messages from people that are not even comprehensible, and it's always from guys who have nothing on their profiles. If a guy has nothing on his profile and cannot even put together a complete, understandable sentence, that means a lot of extra effort on my part to try and figure out who he is and whether he might be safe to cuddle with.

An unintelligible couple of words cannot be considered a serious request for cuddle services. The communications-challenged types never end up booking but simply disappear after one or two messages, usually when I ask how much time they want.

The more messages like that I receive from guys who do not communicate in an adult way, the less likely I am to respond.

^ "I'm beginning to understand why some pros don't respond to some messages."

I knew from just reading the first sentence that your response concerning this issue was going to be good. Well done, BlueIris.

  • [Deleted User]Kaiterpillar (deleted user)

Yeah, a number of messages I get are along the lines of "wow you're hot I wish we could meet up, let me know if you're in x anytime soon," or are not sent with proper spelling/grammar, or when I check their profile have some weird/creepy element (i.e. shirtless pic, brand new account, weird bio, etc etc)

  • This is a message I got today. What the heck do you do with this? "Do t get I. Wrong way with happening. Some think it too long but no lol".... I copied and pasted without changing a thing! How do you even respond to that even if you wanted to???

  • [Deleted User]chococuddles (deleted user)

    @Scarlette

Either "Pardon?" or "Stop sniffing glue".

  • Sounds like it was run through a language translater. Maybe you should run your response through a Chinese translater and send back the result.

  • [Deleted User]Vickie (deleted user)

One of the main reasons as to why I would not respond is...inappropriate question(s). It's tacky and offensive when one inquires about your service and asks if you will wear just panties. Get my drift?

  • Nobody, not even Pros, owes you a response. There are a lot of factors involved. They may just be trying this out. Your initial message may be creeping them out or giving them a bad vibe. Finally, they might just not want to reply. Point being, we don't have to.

  • @letschat6 I have said that myself a dozen times but there are still people who feel the world owes them. It is def your right to not respond or meet with someone. This is an at will site, and nobody is under obligation to socialize with someone if they don't wish

  • @pmvines - There's more specifically a group of men who think women owe them the world but we call that r/niceguys on Reddit haha.

  • Unfortunately they exist everywhere
